Early bird or night owl?

Or you an early riser or do you prefer getting up later and staying up later? I was never an early bird. I hate to get up in the morning. It's absolute torture trying to get out of bed when the alarm rings. I much prefer staying up late than getting up early. Unfortunately, my job starts at 8AM. Which do you prefer?

I love staying up late i always have, i currently work a lot of late shifts and night shifts so because of that i think that over the years my body has just got used to staying up late. If i do get up too early i find that i am usually too tired for the rest of the day so i much prefer to stay up later.

As I have to get to start to work at exactly seven twenty, I have to get to the school at least five minutes ahead of time. So it means that I need to get up early in the morning. I usually get up at six ten or so. Then I have enough time for the preparation of going to work. In fact, I hate to get up that early, but I have to. In the evening, I try to sleep earlier if possible, especially in cold winter as it makes feel warmer in the warm blanket. Thanks for the discussion. Have a good day, rockerfellaco.

I'm a night owl because of my work. I have been working on a night shift for more than four years now and I think my body has eventually adjusted to it. I used to be an early bird and I like it more than getting up late because I get a lot of things accomplished during the day. Unlike now, things will have to wait the next day because most offices are open during regular working hours. That's the disadvantage of working at night. You have to sacrifice your sleep the next day if you have a few things that need to be done before the day ends. However, if I am to choose now, I guess I will still prefer being a night owl. I am so used being wide awake at night. Even during rest days, I still sleep in broad daylight and wake up at night. If I have no plans for the night during my rest days, I'd end up hanging out with my laptop on late hours of the night while everyone in the house is asleep. Happy myLotting! :)

Well for me I'm an early riser and have been forever. When I was working there was a three year period of time that I had to be up by 3:45am. Though most of the other years I was up by six and in bed by eleven the latest. Now retired I usually like to be up by 8am, 9 the latest. Then I do stay up sometimes till two in the morning watching movies. The earliest I can go to bed though is 11:30 to midnight. I guess I'm both early bird and night owl.

I am a morning person through and through. I am active both in mind and body but come sunset I am like a faded flower wanting to hit the pillow as early as I can and that is around 9. Morning hours are precious for me. I do so many things be it exercising, loitering in the kitchen, myLotting - the works!

I'm more of a night owl. I stay up late but then I do have to get up early. It would be nice if I could sleep in but that just isn't possible at the present. My daughter usually wakes up between seven thirty and eight. I stay up usually until around 2 in the morning. Sometimes I get to bed a little earlier.

I am an one who just goes to bed too late. This schedule helps me to do my tasks as well my duties quite well. I find that I could do my duties with fastness as well as quickness during those times and I had find it through my experiments.
I have to reach at collage at 10 am, which means I have enough of time to sleep as well to find for other purposes.
