...confusing guests posts from articles

I don't know whether I should direct this to people who run blogs but can somebody give me a clear definition of a guest post? A few weeks ago, my friend asked me to write some original content for her blog and I agreed. I wrote 3 articles for her and she was satisfied. It was labelled as guest post on her blog. One blogger from her site asked me to do the same and I did. But she refused my submission because they are not guest material. I understand that when content in a blog form an outside source is considered as a guest post with some links directing to my info. I don't understand why my material was rejected by that visitor. My material was timely and well-written but I guess there's soemtihng wrong with the form. I tried to research but it seems like a thin line difference between the two. If you can give me links, I'll appreciate it. I am only a beginner at this thing.

Guest post means your posting an article to someones websites. About the rejection part, he/she rejected your article because you article may not be related to his/her website. So if you like todo guest post check their website first before you create article for them.

I don't believe so. I already stated that my material was related but and I have followed every guideline. Perish, she just have a difference idea of what a guest post is in he for her blog.

There really is no difference except that you write an article and post it to someone else blog or website. http://goinswriter.com/guest-posting/ You should probably contact this person and ask them what is heir idea of "guest material".
