For some reason, some people posted their responses unclear...

Good day Fellow Mylotters, I can't explain for some reason, some people post their answers to some posted discussions unclear. Hence, this somehow made me think, if they really read carefully the posted discussion or just post their response for the sake of answering. Isn't it that proper to read first carefully the posted topic before jumping in to click respond button. Rather than responding with a vague answer.

Mostly people do read but some are in real hurry so they don't but all are welcome here. So its up to the responder only what he or she wants to do and discussion starter can't do anything regarding it. So you should welcome all and reply to their post according to its merit. Good Luck

right and if its merit is zero I will tell that person to read my discussion again as their answer shows they did not read it or understand it.and it its insulting or worthless I will report it. We are suppo work then do not respond.

somehow all of my response got chopped off.We are supposed to read all the discussion before responding. If this is too much work then do not respond.

When i give responses in discussion i always read all content of discussion and understand it before respond. If i not understand with that discussion i will not respond. Sometime i feel a little angry when someone ask me back when i stated some information clearly in my responses. I just using simple english and not high quality english i think it is not hard to understand my sentences.

Hatley sometime i not understand if the discussion is too long. I'm very slow to understand something. Sometime i read 3 to 5 times to understand some topic of discussion. If i'm not understand i will give up. Hmm i think i want to ask you something. Maybe i will pm you.

it happens when someone just read the title of the topic then jumps on to answering the discussion without even bothering to read what the topic is all about. maybe they just wanted to have more conversations covered in less time.

Yes, the discussion should be read first before anyone responds to any discussions. i will read all the discussions I respond to, so that I can gtive a response that matches the topic of the discussion. I think those that respond just to be responding, are trying to earn as much as they can, and don't care. it is sad when that happens, as they are missing the point of mylot in the first place. We are to discuss, but also we are to respond with answers that match the discussions. Take care, and have a very good day.

Details bog the discussion down. Of course if you don't give ENOUGH details, the discussion risks being deleted because 'it is not long enough' And not all people can read as speedy-fast as you, and they make better use of their time if they just read the title, skim the paragraph and blah-blah-blah whatever comes to mind!

mythociate now just for once pretend it ois a gpod discjussion well dopne then the resp;onder shuld read it all and gice3 an intelligent response do you not agree? If I am writing about a health problem and you respond"well I do not like liverwurst bu t I do like hot dogs" I will tell you "go back and r ead my discussion again as its not about food."Blah blah whatever comes to mind will not impress the admins who will see its not helping the discussion and will delete it. believb me.

I have also observed that friend ,not in my discussion to others whom i am also responding . I have read some phrases only , i am amazed as how to express ourselves in a phrase only but each of us have different style . Also maybe because all are so busy with so many task , professional and personal life thats why do a quick response. Sometimes we wanted to do several thing in one setting only , thats why some lapses are being committed .I have experienced in one discussion , i didnt read that much i assumed that is the thought of her discussion ..i was so ashamed when the owner responded , you're out of topic ..haha but actually the way i commented is have relation to the topic.

I understand what you're saying. I've seen some responses that made me shake my head as to what they were talking about. I've seen a lot of people just read the title and respond, without reading the entire discussion so they understand what it's about. Yes, I do think you should read the entire discussion so you can properly answer. I've also seen discussions that are confusing so you end up asking more questions too. I guess we just gotta take it as it is..lol!

I guess they are just scanning the discussions so sometimes they have confusing answers. Though sometimes discussions are also vague. I guess if we want to get clear answers, we should make them clear and concise. Before, I got confused because the discussion maker didn't know how to use pronouns properly. Some don't have any thought. For these reasons, I skip reading and responding some discussions. :(

Yes this is been happening i think since the beginning of My lot. Not everybody read what you write. Many will just read the topic and the first and last line. Some will just read the last few lines and then answer. And that is the reason why we get wrong answers most of the time. But i think this is now very rare to see, there are very few or say only the new my lotters who do this. I think the new my lotters still need to be given time to understand my lot. I am sure they will be used to my lot and get the things right. And for some old people i think it might be just sometimes they answer like that and then some responses are posted wrong and not up to the mark.

Unfortunately, some do just respond without completely reading the post. And some would just base their response on the topic of the post which sometimes is far from what the member who posted it was telling about. It is best that everyone should read the entirety of the post so that there would be communication between the member who started the post and the member who responded to the post. I think that is the best way in making a very good discussion.

At least people are taking pain to write response. Sometime people may comprehend the discussion wrongly and write response accordingly. I don't think that would frustrate anybody. But some guys are really in a hurry and they read just half the discussion and respond accordingly, that may not be right. Cheers and have a nice day.

This has been a general complaint ever since I joined mylot (about 8 months ago). It's been addressed in different ways before in discussions. It does no good. People are too eager to hurry up, write a response and jump to the next discussion. All they can think of is "more is better" in terms of earning. Just be glad it's not the majority of responders that do this. Or is it? I guess the only thing you can do is not comment to those responses, which means you lose earnings, or do as one (very popular) mylotter did and tell the responder to go back and read the discussion.

And it's a well founded complaint. Also the complaint about discussion starters who don't bother commenting to the responders who are nice enough to respond. Or they only respond to a chosen few, maybe their friends. I stay away from these people after they do that to me once or twice. You never do that Aka. I'm glad you at least commented here.

Haha i always comment everywhere and comment all responses i receive in my discussion. If i receive a lot of responses i just make 1 discussion per day or stop for a while to concentrate to comment all response i receive 1 by 1.

anyway we commit mistake sometimes we can't avoid it especially when you feel sleep. All we need is to learn to respect and understand each other view. I also got the responses which is not I am looking for..He understand my words in other meanings He have different understanding. Some are against my views.Although I can defend myself I cannot please them.My question is different from their answers sometimes I asked what will I do now. then they will answer. why you done that before? It's normal in life to experience that.I myself also sometimes have different understanding to what he was trying to discuss. And sometimes I am doubt on my answer later.at least they spend time to us to respond .and we must at least appreciate that effort.

hi airsheila some well a lot actually do not read the guidelines which is really sort of stupid as the information shows us how to use mylot and make money and have fun.in the guidelines admins tells us to read all of the discussion before attempting to answer it. Which makes sense to me as I often use teaser titles to get people to read my discussions and thus may not always be directly related to my topic. I often tell people who give a silly response please read my discussion as I can see you did not. and som etimes they do reread it.Yes we are supposed to read carefully the discussion before trying to respond to it. Asx my English prof in one class always told us "please engage brain fefore writing the paper."

Thanks for this nice discussion friend. Many members here are so fast in responding to discussions, they don't have the time to read the full discussion and respond accordingly, my discussions are lengthy, i have observed what you are talking of in the responses..

I read discussions properly, first i understand it and then respond to it.But if i can't understand those discussions, first i read all other responses and then i respond to the discussion. In this way discussions are completely based on my understanding and reading.
