i am looking for some new things to share on facebook. people are posting up the same old things. no one is posting anything original and useful. i can understand pictures, funny quotes, surveys, poll, quizzes, etc, but i am tired of being asked to like whether or not someone is going to bed or not. i don't care what someone is having for dinner. every now and then it's one thing, but that seems to be happening all the time on facebook. what kinds of things would be useful and fun to share on facebook. what kinds of things do you share?

I don't share anything on Facebook and I wish others would stop sharing so much. From Facebook alone I found out that one of my cousin's was gay, my other cousin was molested, my nephew has a dirty mouth and my brother in law is a ho. If you have to share something I would like to see something useful. Like what gas station did you find that has the lowest prices, what's a good deal that you spotted at the store, current events, things like that. It doesn't have to be so personal all the time.

I completely and wholeheartedly agree with you jalucia. People on Facebook are so caught up in their feelings, posting for likes and to impress others that they don't even like. Most of the people that are on my friend's list I don't even know now.. a lot are family, old friends from high school, colleagues, former co-workers, etc. but a lot are people I only played online gaming with, chatted online to or business network with. I find Twitter more useful and technical as there is a 140 character limit, if you can't say what you have to say and be blunt about it.. then you have too much to say over a social networking site. After all, these sites are designed for us to keep in contact with those who are far away, learn about what's going on in the world today, etc. It is not about drama, who's sleeping with who, who's having a baby by who, who's working where and doing what with their lives.. that's putting too much on front street and doesn't leave much to the imagination about meeting someone if you were looking to meet someone new on there. Facebook is turning slowly into how Myspace turned. It's ludicrous.

I agree with you on this, there are really some posts worth the likes, and worth posting and sharingg. people should really think of being able to share something nice, worth the time, something that is very memorable and helpful and important in facebook. i think people sharing a cup or a bowl of cereals they ate this morning are just wasting space in the internet!

I am an one who just used to use Facebook to connect my friends to find fun. Most of the time I just used to share photos, thoughts, quotes and something like that and sharing the things depends on my mind but I just make sure that the post which I used to share on my wall make some to smile by seeing it.

Hi friend, good to know that you are interested in sharing new things in fb, most of the persons are sharing their day to day activities in fb. There is nothing wrong in updating our status, but there is no use in updating the normal things in fb, we can update important information in fb which is useful to share with our friends

In my point of view you have to creat a page on facebook.com anyone page in which you takes interest such as education, sports or whatever do you want .. in this way u can increase you knowledge about different things and will be able to get different ideas... I do nothing on fb I used to share my pictures, quatation video songs, and jokes... but now i do not use it as i used...Now it's up to you ...

Facebook really seems to be a public diary of mainly most users. By that way, it's normal that it gets boring. Personally, I only use it to stay in touch with some friends, because I now that they don't use their email anymore, so it would be spent time only if I write them a mail. The best way to reach them is to enter in Facebook. But all I have to comment with the, I'll do it through privat and individual messages. I am not the person who likes to publish my enter life. I still consider to use FB maybe in the future for work.

what i share on facebook is the important happenings in my life like my wedding, birthday, etc. i think sharing photos of whats your breakfast, lunch and dinner is a non-sense. some also post their pictures of their face, nose or their body everyday like their so inlove with their self, and because they wanted others to "like" their post.
