As a nurse from a developing country, I dream of getting a job overseas too. Nurses in developing countries are often overworked and underpaid, so they have this nonverbal, competitive, silent race to get out of the country and land a job abroad. Although I am not yet a nurse in here, getting here in one of the world's most beautiful countries is quite an achievement already. As soon as I checked in on FB, I got many private messages a day from people asking me how to get here. Aside from that, they are also wondering why I do not have so many pictures like the others. Well, for me, I just got to the point that posting a picture on fb is not my priority when I get home. I am not as giddy as I used to be when I log in to my fb account. Maybe when I finally get a real job as a registered nurse, then maybe. I don't know. If it were you, would you go all over the country and take pictures only to post it on facebook account?

Firstly I have a very strict facebook account. Only friends and family can see my posts. sometimes, i have very restricting friends among friends also. So yes, I post pictures to save digitally because I need to keep those memories and FB is one of the good "free" storage of digitalized photo album. in my case, also i want to share to my friends and relatives the new culture that I am into. Most of the time I am not in the photo because I was the one taking them. So I don't receive any private messages from other people whom I really don't know.

Sharing some things on facebook is our own decision. You can do what you think will be good for you.
Personally, I only post those things related with my online job of facebook.
Have a nice day!

No, most people did it as hobby or simply just for fun. Working in a developing country is a good training ground if you have planned of going out your country for the same work in the future.
