What do you do when you are bored to death?

Hi XX. I am retired and have a lot of time on my hands mostly I keep pretty busy. But when the weather is nasty outside I can't get out and work in the yard. Which I love doing because it is a good work out not only is it a work out but makes our yard look really good. I keep a pretty clean house but there are some things I don't do as often as I should I don't dust everyday even though it wouldn't help much to dust everyday cause we live out in the boonies and it is very dusty around here.....LOL I play games online too mainly http://www.coolmath-games.com/0-gemswap2/index.html but after reaching level 19 I usually don't get past that so I get bored with it. What kinds of other games do you play? You told me of one of the games you play but I don't join sites to play games.

Hi Montevilla and welcome to my lot. I get bored working on the same old stuff on the computer. I hate what is on TV anymore all you hear about is bad stuff. I sleep way too much as it is I usually go to bed by 9pm and get up by 4am. Thanks happy Mylotting to you too my friend.

Hi Cher. It is nice to have so much to do but I just couldn't get my mind on doing anything that day. My arm has been giving me a lot of pain these days I don't do any pain pills don't want to get addicted to anything. I just couldn't get my mind to want to do anything. Been wanting to get out and work in my flower gardens but the weahter was so bad and didn't want to get out in it.....LOL Anyway I finally did have a day of 60 degree weather and got to do at least 4 of them. Needed to weed them and put some fresh mulch on them so they will look good all spring and summer.

Hi Greenthumb and welcome to my lot. I usually have so much to do I don't have time to get bored either but this day it was just one of those days I couldn't get interested in anything. I don't join other sites one reason is I don't have that much time to spend here on my lot much less time to spend on other sites. I have so much work I can get done outside if the weather will corporate. But the weather has been nice one day and the next we have rain and cold weather.

Hi MissBlack and welcome to my lot. I don't have text message on my phone anymore and I never chat on those things like yahoo. Did that once and it got me almost in trouble. My children are all grown and live in other states. I usually don't have time to get bored but when I want to do something and can't do it bothers me to no end till I finally get it done.

Hi TLilly. I usually don't have that much time to spend here on my lot I am usually busy from the time I get out of bed. But this day I was bored I had everything done and it was too cold or wet to be outside. I have so much stuff to get done but no want to do them and plus my arm is still in pain a lot since I broke it.

Hi Celticeagle. Wow only 2 that is pretty bad. It has been down to the lower 2 digits here but not as low as it has been where you are. I used to enjoy finding new things on the net. But not much that I haven't looked up. I am not on face book the reason the news has been showing all kinds of bad things about that site. So I stay on my lot or play gem swap but after playing it for so long I get bored with it. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jugsjugs. I know what you mean about the time dragging on and on and seems like it will never end. I am so sick of this weather being too cold to do anything outside. I wish I could get out and work in my flower beds or get started on the garden. I can hardly wait till the garden is growing again this year. I am going to can a lot this year. I am hoping and praying that my arm is all better when the weather gets better so I can work in the yard. Seems like the weather being so cold it makes me sleepy. I can't sleep good anyway cause I can't sleep on my arm. And not finding much of anything to respond to I am not really inspired by my lot discussions these days. Thinking of going to older discussions to see if there is anything I haven't responded to.

Hi LovingMyBabies. I too have so much stuff to do I really don't have the time to be bored. But since I broke my arm I just can't do as much as I normally would do. I get most of the stuff done but need help with a few things. I had all my chores done and it was too miserable to be outside that day that I wrote this discussion.

Hi WakeUpKitty. I have plenty to do but with my arm so sore I just plain don't want to do much of anything. I have cleaned till I am bored with it. I like my home clean, not too clean to be comfortable, I have two dogs and they can't be outside when it is cold. I don't want them to be cold either. I have lots of things to sew but with my sewing machine on the fritz I don't want to sew anything. I would rather do something with my time then to sleep too much. What kinds of things do you paint?
