Better off with a puppy

I have been looking at dogs, more breed wise. Seeing as I currently have 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 1 hamster, an 1 rabbit (the raabbit is free run). I was having such a hard time. Seeing as most dogs fromt he shelter have behvioural issues, some breeds are made to hunt (and Marco is the key one LOL). My parents suggested a puppy new born, so thaat it grows up with the wide variety and think it's normal to be friends with the rabbit. I thought they were right, better be safe than sorry. I dont promote breeders, but this may be the time I buy my first dog from a breeder. I was thinking of a great dane, or mastiff as they are good nature dogs, but they get to be rather laarge (a horse LOL).

I don't know why you judge all the breeders with the same harsh feelings. You should not blame all the breeders. There are responsible breeders that do everything to breed the perfect dog for the breed they love. Of course there are lot of bad people that breed dog only for profit (see the puppy millers...), but I don't suggest you to consider such people when you want to buy a puppy. I think you should first choose the breed you want to buy, then to start searching for the right breeder. If you decide the breed you like, come back, maybe we can help you choose the right breeder.

Good plan to get a puppy. I do think you need to consider whether or not you want a really big dog. At least not until you have a place of your own. Your family is not very good with you and your pets.

Hello there! First of I would like to suggest some points to you before buying your own pet dog.First thing you have to consider is that what type of breed do you really want?Is it small breed or the large ones?I have read that you already have some pets too and that you should think of a breed that is friendly with other pets in your house.Acquiring a dog from a breeder is okay too because they know very well the temper of the litter that you want.Acquiring a pet dog from a vet or pet shop is just as okay but I think it cost a little expensive but it depends on the breed that you will buy. another thing to consider is that do you have a larger space for them to keep specially if you want a great dane breed or a mastiff .

If you like small breed, the mini-dutchund, maltese and shi tzu are lovable dogs. So with the mini pincher and chihuwawa.

Nice, you have a variety of interest in raising pets for used. In breeding always used the best breed for a better result. One thing don't forget the cleanliness of the surrounding for it also greatly affect the character of the pets.

Hello Ricki, I´m glad to read you again. I love pets, we have 5 cats, 2 dogs, 2 turtles, 5 birds. Most of my dogs since I´m married are picked up from the street 5 of 6, I´m heart broken when I see them at the street, and if there´s place home I pick them here. My father used to buy breeded dogs, I love them too. I grew with them. But it´s true, if you have some many other pets, you need your new dog to be a puppy so he can grew and adapt to your home. Choose the best dog for you, remember you shouldn´t return it back. Blessings Ricki, good luck!... Dainy
