Less responses to the discussions

I noticed that as well.. Seems because of the problem with the email notifications.. Lets hope mylot gets that fixed soon. We are losing peoples interests here...

Well interests vary. Sometimes we end up beginning a discussion that has already been here for a long time. We dont know about it but maybe others have already discussed it and finished with it. There are so many discussions that dont get responses at all for many years to come. Dont get disheartened. Maybe suddenly you will come up one discussion that could lead you to get many responses.

You really have to be aware of who you are writing for. Your friends list usually come on Mylot at a certain time. So you have to figure that out and post your discussions at that time. You will also get more responses if you write discussions that have subject matter the members on your friends list is interested in. If you do these two things you will be sure to get more responses.

I used to want many responders so I can interact with a lot of mylot people. But my highest respond rate is around 40. I don't mind having few responders though. In fact, it doesn't matter how many. What's important is the quality of the responses not the quantity.

i think the amount of response each of us get is relative because i consider 20 response to be a lot. i get about 15 responses on average i think this is because i do not have a lot of friends. i may be wrong though.

i have discussions that has no responses. it's okey. maybe my blog is not that attracting. so sometimes it took me a minute or so just for the title.

I have been away from mylot for a long time, after I coming back, I find I can only have a few responses in my discussion now. And I do not have enough time to reflect those posts in my discussion, which makes my discussion hard to float on the thousands of discussions here. I think try to start a interesting topic, then taking care of your discussion, reflecting to the posts in time, that can help you have a hot discussion here. Good luck to you.

Ofcourse it would be nice if we get many responses to the topics that we had started. Lately, there had been some glitches here in myLot that most of us don't receive notifications like notifications that our friends had started, comments back from your responses, etc. I had seen in your profile p[age that you did start many discussions. I like most of your topics and will answer to some of them after this. Keep on starting discussions. Do not bother much that there are less responders. If I may suggest, add many tags so that many people can see your discussion more. Happy myLottings!

I noticed when I started here in MyLot it's quick to get responses but as time goes by it seems like there are few people responding quickly. I guess many people here are busy too. Sometimes I am busy reading post, I have few time to respond.

Hi ajithal! There are many factors why our discussion sometimes get few responses. This can be due to the the topic which may not be familiar with our friends here. This can also be due to not clear presentation of the subject which our friends might find confusing and many more reasons. Remember that our interests differ from one another so if you want that your discussion get more responses select a topic that will interest more from the group. Have a nice day!

Attracting a lot of responses to your discussion does not depend on you.All you can do is initiate an interesting discussion on a topic that is related to our daily life or to a well known issue.I have experienced that discussions on technical topics don't extract a good number of of responses.And sometimes even an interesting discussion ends up attracting only one or two responses.In fact,it depends on mylotters which discussion they respond to.You can't attract views to your posts here.One thing you may do is make a large number of friends.Your friends are likely to respond to your posts although you can't be assured of it.

I have observed though am not that old here that it greatly depends in the topic that you posted. I have noticed if i posy about my emotions ahhhhhh less people will comment but if i write about Mylot then people love to join and take part. Maybe feed up with an emotion thing because they themselves have emotional issues but when issues about Mylot they find it more interesting and i am so grateful to those people. I don't know if someone got that 100 responses but my highest is like 40 only but am so happy and grateful for this number.

It would appear that people are finding better things to do. I haven't received a response for days... I think it is time to start being awful to folk

My first discussions didn't have any responses at all but it's fine. Life's like that, lose some win some. I'm happy with people responding to my discussions but it doesn't bother me if I don't have any responses at all. What I do is go and respond to another discussions, maybe they would notice me there and maybe they will respond to my topics next time.

Getting many responses depends on other mylotters. I respond to discussions that I find interesting. I hope that helps. When I don't get many responses, it does not bother me. Have a great day!

Its an art to get many responses. Also those who get many pages are usually people who have been here a long long time! I see you have been here quite awhile too but don't be discouraged. Keep trying and hopefully one day you'll experience many pages of response as well.

lol ... i think this time you can find a good number of responses. But ~.~ 100! its too much my friend. But I m not qualified enough to imagine upto this number. Btw all the best.
