MSNBC doctors yet another video to promote their agenda...

Anyone who watches MSNBC might think now that pro-2nd amendment people were heckling the father of one of the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting. They carefully doctored the video to make it seem like that was what happened. Of course, that's NOT what happened. In reality the man asked the crowd a question. When nobody answered, he asked again. At that point there was an answer to his question from the crowd. MSNBC doctored the video to ommit his question, AND his response to the answer, just to make it seem like people were shouting and heckling him as he spoke. Of course there are still plenty of liberals here who piss and moan about Fox News and don't seem to care in the slightest that MSNBC is out there doctoring videos and 911 calls whenever it suits their agenda. This kind of garbage really disgusts me. http://www.newser.com/article/da44ss0g2/under-criticism-msnbc-not-addressing-its-editing-of-newton-parents-testimony-at-gun-hearing.html http://www.mediaite.com/tv/foxs-the-five-goes-after-msnbc-for-edited-video-of-sandy-hook-father-being-heckled/

No one who watches MSNBC will respond to your discussion. They won't even bother to show up and say "Fox did it first". But they know, they've been told and anyone who still watches these news networks is willingly submitting to the indoctrination and accepting the misinformation and disinformation because THEY LIKE IT. Those devoted watchers of these outfits want to hear what makes them feel good about their political choices and opinions and the truth is not as important to them as the agenda.

They're there, reading but not responding. I noticed the other day, someone refered to a discussion I posted, but upon investigation I realized they'd not responded to said discussion. Now, there's nothing wrong with that in and of itself. I read a lot of discussions and don't respond too. But the point is that they're reading the discussions regardless of agreement or disagreement. You just have to wonder why they're choosing not to respond? You have to admit, if some of them really thought they had a good argument to bear upon this, they'd jump at the chance to share it, right? Maybe they'll stop by and tell us?

I can't help myself, I must remind you that it was a Fox personality who used, according to another Fox personality, "Math that makes you feel good as a Republican" on election night. Annie

Personalities give opinions and people know that. When people see video, they assume it is a record of the actual event as it happened. When a news network conspires to slant a story or even report an event erroneously by editing video so that it no longer shows a record of the event as it actually happened, people will not be aware of that editing and will be misinformed, or to say it plainly, they will have been purposefully lied to.

Taskr you failed to understand that MSNBC is not there to report the news they are there to make the news. What they did was perfectly understandable and correct given there mission. It is no different than the the Reporters and Photographers who photoshop their photos to "show how horrific" the Israelis attacks on Lebanon were. It is not necessary to report the attacks on Israel because that is not news (that supports their liberal agenda). MSNBC was trying to show what they wanted to happen. What is wrong with a TV or Newspaper Making the News rather than reporting? After all they know what is best for this country and the people don't.

So true. I don't know why I keep pretending they're a news channel. They're the ones who pretend when most of us know better.

It's sickening that they should twist things to say what they want them to, and it's even more sickening to know that they are allowed to do this. Where can we find the truth? Maybe nowhere any more.

That's true to a certain extent, but for daily goings on, there is little to base our knowledge on.

You have to dig. You have to already know the truth about history, and how sadly we've strayed from what this country is supposed to be under the Constitution. I suggest reading the original. Then when you hear news from the MSM or WH, it will be clear if that is how it should be, or how they twist it to be.

Get ready to be shocked, Taskr...I agree that what you say happened on Martin Bashir's show was wrong and disingenuous. Whomever was responsible for that particular editing should be dealt with accordingly, at least reprimanded. HOWEVER, it's not MSNBC as a network to blame here since I've seen the entire exchange several times on MSNBC both before and after the airing of the Bashir show in question. That poor grieving father asked a very simple question of the people in that room and got a NON-answer. I'm going to paraphrase here so please don't pounce on me for misleading you; the father asked if anyone there could tell him why they needed that type of weapon with that type of magazine clip and someone in the crowd shouted something to the effect that, "Our rights shall not be infringed upon." We can argue and debate as to whether that "non-answer" constitutes "heckling" or not but the fact is most MSNBC viewers got the whole story. For the record, under the circumstances I DO consider it to be heckling and at the very least extremely disrespectful. Annie

"How is that heckling?" Well, I think I said we could argue and debate that point but that in MY opinion it was heckling. You have every right to disagree. However, I must ask YOU how was what that guy said "answering" the father's question? You continue to bring up George Zimmerman, the man who needlessly murdered 17 year old Trayvon Martin, and a tape played on "Today" which is on NBC NOT MSNBC. I've said before, and I KNOW you know I did since you never seem to forget a word I've ever written...lol...that I had seen and heard the entire 911 tape played on various MSNBC shows both before and after the "Today" broadcast in question. Annie, how can we not blame MSNBC when this keeps happening? At least in this case it didn't destroy a man's reputation and frame him as a racist which is what they typically doctor videos for. Keep in mind, they've also doctored and edited videos that have NOT been publicly denounced simply because nobody bothered to check. I remember watching Keith Olberman show a doctored clip of Bill O'Reilly and then making snide remarks about it because he knew his viewers would believe anything he said without checking the source. I only knew the clip was doctored because I watched what O'Reilly REALLY said on his show. "For the record, under the circumstances I DO consider it to be heckling" The man asked a question. When nobody answered, he asked it again. So one guy answered it. How is that heckling?

Yes, in that there's not much you can say when you're in a crowd responding to a guy with a microphone. On an interesting note, the question was meaningless and borne of lies spread by the media that the shooter gunned people down with an AR-15. The fact is that the shooter did NOT use an AR-15, but rather two handguns which Obama has never objected to.

I'm past disgusted and into totally P!SSED. I make at least one phone call a week to the networks to let them know I am not watching and my very LARGE family is not watching. I think the woman who answers the phone at MSNBC knows me by my first name. lol Call, make your voice heard. Tell them they are worthless.
