I am a school teacher in Illinois, where in one week we go from record highs near 70, to almost record lows in the negative digits at night. I have had more kids out sick this year than in previous years, and it is not just a one or two day sickness, kids are out for four or five days in a row. I am sure that the weather is playing a part in this horrible cycle of sickness.

That is so true! The changes in our weather do make our kids suffer. My sons are having colds for the past weeks. I no longer give them antibiotics coz I feel the'd be immune with it. So I just give them vitamin c or let them eat lots of fruits.

I hope you feel better soon. You might want to make use of a humidifier in your home to purify the air in your home.

The weather can very much be a big part of the sickness of our kids. Sometimes even adults get sick because of the weird weather changes that has been happening. Some say this is because of the ozone layer getting thinner and thinner every year. It affects the weather changes on earth.

Yes change in weather can affect the individual health so precautions should be taken. And its the children mostly who get caught in all this stuff because they are somewhat careless as compared to the senior ones.
