I don't know what to think about that.

My landlord decides to hire construction workers and reconstruct the house by adding a small room right outside the front door. Usually when I open the front door and walk out I would be outside but now my front door entrance to outside is now an entrance to a small room. The room is still in construction though.
My landlord wanted to do this because she wants to have another person renting a room from her. (I lived in a house which is shared by 5 people)
She wants to make more money. Now what do you think of that?

It will be more a nuisance to the new tenant as you will be passing through her room each time you want to get in and get out. I have never heard of such an arrangement. I am sure when the new tenant comes she will object to this arrangement. I hope atleast you have independent toilets!

No. It's the opposite. I will have to go through the room of somebody else to go outside the house. But of course I will have to go through the same room to enter the living room.
I can't move because it's hard to find another room for rent and not to mention the trouble of moving to another room will effect my studies.

It is not fair. A landlord would hardly find somebody to rent a room like this here, and it certainly depreciates all the house. The only thing that you can do is to move ; I am afraid that if you want to stay you have to accept it. Maybe you can ask for a reduction of the rent ?

Reduction of rent will never happen because the landlord/landlady wants to make more money that's why she wanted an extra room for renting.

How big is the house you're staying. It might not be healthy to be all crapped in that small space. But what can we all do about it, he owns the place. Well, you can report it to the authorities, but that would cause your own space in the house. So might as well live with it.

The landlord is a she or should I say landlady instead. The house is not very big. The authorities can't be bother for such small matter. Besides I think I'm more worried about the person staying in the new room because she will have people going through back and forth. (The landlady only allow females to rent)

umh, it depends on you. If you still like to live in there, you can rent if not you can move out. Landlord always want to earn more money from renters and when he has one more room, it means that he will have more money.

Firstly of all,the behaviour of your landlord is not right, but I can understand because everyone want to earn more money, and actually this is a very common phenomenon in my city.
So as the renter,we have no choice but accept the reality, and work harder and harder aim to buy a house of my own.

I think you should talk to your landlord saying that you are going to leave the house if he constructed the room as your entrance as well as your independence would be affected. I think he would agree to this and if he rejects than you should find another house as peace of mind is more important than money.

Sounds like a landlady who has absolutely no scruples and doesn't care a jot about her tenants and is only interested in making money, I would actually begrudge her doing that, and would find alternative accommodation rather than lining her greedy pocket!

Its her house so she can reconstruct it for sure. She is doing it because she senses that there is a high demand of room by the students. I am not saying that she is doing right thing but she is doing it because opportunity is there for her to earn extra income. If you can't find any other better place then you will have to adjust to these conditions.
