Windows vs Android a little confusion...

Hi mylotters I have a little confusion related to mobile phones.If i were to but a mobile worth rs.10000 equivalent to around 170$ what should it be a Windows based phone or an android based phone? I am confused because both of them are different os and offer different features and usage properties . But if compared android phones are relatively cheap and have triple the big market place i.e google play than of windows live store which is costly too. But windows phone like lumia tend to last longer and support many docs so If you were to make a choice which one should you choose?
