i've been working full time mondays to sundays. on weekdays i have an 8-5 job as a municipal health officer, on weekends i go 150kms south and go on 24hr duty. it's a really tiring schedule but i want to work fulltime at the moment since i've got lots of things i want to buy. every now and then i get the urge to buy something...and right now i feel that i'm starting to feel the urge again haha.
i need someone to convince or rather, help me stop LOL.

haha,i just opened one last week but got it with an ATM. i also like the thought of saving money, since i enjoy looking at my bank accounts and see my money grow haha. however, i don't really keep all my money in 1 savings account, hence the thought of withdrawing to buy stuff using money in my 'non-savings' account pops up every now and then +___+

Let me see, it will go on sale, so wait a little while. I have been told "you really do not need it."or why waste your money? I think it depends on how desperate you are or whether if you spend the money, you cringe after getting it even if you need it.
That is why I have a "do not touch" amount in my bank account. That is how I stop the urge.

Jexuiq, I hope that you are fine. I think that expenses always will be there, as the dirty laundry and kitchen plates in a messy sink. But I think that your expenses are turning in your goal to do work, while you should do work because you love your work.
Your incentive should be your work, no money, and then money will come alone. Try to do your work with all the love you can, try to do your work without thinking on money, this way you won´t feel the urge and anguish, and you´ll live more happy and pleanty.

As a full time municipal health officer, i am convinced you are making very comfortable living with high salary and perks from the city government. Keep working, and earning money, just don't forget to spend them buying whatever you like and want if you can not control your urge, that is perfectly fine since you are a municipal employee. Don't have to worry too much like most of us who are struggled daily in the private sector just to put food on the table with miserable pay check living on day to day basic. At least, we don't have the luxury to even think of buying lot of things, just to buy food and have a roof on top of our head every night is all we can dream of with our low salary.

When I earn my money here online, I just let it sit in, my paypal account I don't touch it unless, I really have to, and most of the time, I don't need to buy anything, and I like doing things like this, I have my money on, my paypal card and I still won't spend my money.
