Just now after opening may yahoo. I received email again pretending to be from yahoo mail. They told me as customer they have found that my yahoomail account have been using multiple servers and subject to be suspended and They ask me to update and secure my account by clicking the link they provided mailyahoosecure that is the link well,I am familiar with phishing and different style of hacking and account and this is one of the strategies that they are using. Once you click that link either the malware virus or keylogger will be automatically download on your computer.I been victim the past few years of trojan virus which is a malware virus.Well, Pity of them That I don't have credit card that they can steal for I am ordinary person. I just wanted to share this perhaps you also received the same thing. so be aware of that And yahoo never give email to user as far as I know.We can read it in policies in yahoo.I just wanted to share this to alarm my co lotters who are new in case like this. Before I am not aware of this and I always click the link and yes my computer always infected with virus. You can also search on how to hack an account here in the internet and you will see this is one of the example. so beware of this. and never click the link which is unfamiliar to you especially in yahoo messenger someone will send you a link which is not in your friends list. Be wise ..

Sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me and I look to see what they are trying to scam me with. This morning they were wanting my account number so they could put in 15,000,000 amount of money I won from a lottery (I never entered). I hope all those bad things don't happen to me. I heard on the news that many people are getting ripped off with getting a check for more than they were suppose to (this happens most when selling something or Craig's list or Ebay). They have some good reason why they sent more and ask for the extra to be returned to them. Now who would trust a complete stranger to send back an overpayment but many people fall for it?

Don't even open them as they can still get information from you from your reply.

I used to get a lot of phishing emails too up until about two or three years ago. One day, I just got tired of it and practically every phishing email I received, I reported to the proper places (the website it was 'from' and sometimes appropriate government agency). Eventually, it got to the point I think these people started getting the message and I have seen an incredible noticeable drop in phishing emails I've received since then. Most of mine seemed to come from either eBay or Paypal. Amazon on occasion.

That's right. so this hackers will be aware then. We should report it and act on it instead of ignoring it. If all computer user will be like you I don't think hackers will be lessen .

This is the first time that I've heard of this kind of a phishing scam supposedly being from your email provider, but it is definitely not the first time that I've heard of this kind of a phishing scam. For me, I know that they are scams, but it makes it even more obvious when these phishing scams are talking about your bank account with a bank that you don't even use. Whenever I get these for a company that I do use, I will delete the email and instead log directly into the website for that particular company.
