Pakistan surrender to SA fast bowlers

This what I was trying to say earlier that Pakistan team has no chances of dominating even a day in SA at least in test matches. They can bowl exceptionally well and can keep SA in check every time but they will fall far below them when batting. 49 and all out, common yaar, Pakistan batting lineup is pathetic. They can make runs on flat tracks only. Not even able to avoid follow on which requires just 52 runs. Cheers and happy my lotting

Hi anilhclites South Africa proved why they world best test team in the world , Their bowling attack is just awesome to watch , steyn in particular and rest of the bowlers supported him very well . Pakistan show their batting weakness once again it is the lowest total by Pakistan in test cricket . I think this match will be over in 4 days . it is already 1 - 0 unless some miracle occur .

Dale Steyn is simply awesome but I still think that they have not face the best batsmen of the world. England is a team to beat for me now. Since now they have to play much of their cricket outside subcontinent in the coming years, so they can regain that spot. SA batting can collapse if they face some great fast bowlers. I will bet for England if Eng-SA series happen in near future. SA bowlers are looking great because they are bowling to poor batsmen of pace. Cheers and happy my lotting.

At present time England is not consistent enough to be on top and that's why they are not there. But we can't say anything about future.

No doubt SA is best team right now and they earned that status by dominating the top teams in the world. SA have four of the world's finest batsmen, Hashim Amla rank 2, AB de Villiers rank 6, Jacques Kallis rank 7 and Graeme Smith rank 12 and some excellent bowlers also, Dale Steyn rank 1, Philander rank 2 and Morne Morkel rank 8. And that's why they are force to reckon with.

Yes they really surrendered to the Steyn and the party. 49 is their lowest Test score now beating the 53. Steyn just destroyed them with the unbelievable figures of 6 wickets for 8 runs. I also doubted before the series that their batting can be unpredictable but I never thinked that they will be all out on 49. Nine wickets fell caught behind the wicket and this shows the quality of bowling by SA. Will this be a another one-sided series win for SA

Srilanka pakistan India and Bangladesh are all doing very badly against fast bowling. For that matter Aus, england and SA and newzealand are not doing toowel against quality fast bowling. The batting standards have gone down as fast bowlers are dominating the game. So thos eof you who were criticizing India will now realize we are as a bad as the others, nothing to worry.

SA fast bowlers especially Steyn can be a real handful for most sides. So it is not that big a surprise that they shot out Pakistan for 49. Considering they have in recent past dismissed Australia with better batting strength than Pakistan for paltry scores.

Hi Anilhclites May be you are right . But don't think that SA bating is poor . Now there are in very good form , and giving tough competition to opponents in both bowling and batting too. They proved how much better form they are now. Pakistan even cannot gave a little bit competition. Almost this series is gone to South Africa.

I think if Steyn, Philander and morkel bowls to SA batsmen than they too can out for a paltry score. SA has not face the best of attack for some time now. I just know that SA has still not defeated Australia in SA. Cheers and happy mylotting.

I think most probably Pakistan needs to play players who are in good form in the team. I think Afridi should play with his experience and I also think Imran Farhat is a good opener who should have been in the playing 11.

did you say Afridi in tests? c'mon he should be soon out from one days even, will be worst choice in tests for pakistan.

SA is my favorite team, but i will say here pakistan team's batting lineup is not pathetic actually SA's bowling lineup is world's best. starting from stain remover to kallis all are perfect fast bowlers. at the same time Asia subcontinent teams can perform better only in asia region and where bowl turns and come slow to bat.

Let's see how SA goes from here after 100 for 4. 338 is a good total by Pakistan and SA have to play extremely well in order to win this test match. I think they will lose this match. Cheers and happy my lotting.

Its really sad to see Amla, Kallis not scoring. Pakistan really did well. but you may never know, its cricket.... same situation pakistan faced in their innings. i am still in favor of SA.

Pakistan has better bowlers than batsmen.Their bowlers did decent job on first day although batsmen did the reverse.Their bowlers did not look threatening given the hype.Apart from Misbah or Younis, i do not think others are good enough to tackle South africa in South Africa. They did not have any answers to Steyn or Phil. And the way they batted showed they had no applications or idea of what to do in South Africa. They were not even half confident to post 40 plus.I think they were lucky to post 49 runs.Yousuf was a good batsman who used to get out of these tricky situations but then even age has caught with him.You need solid opening and middle order. And unlike ODI and T20,you need not score at fast rate. You only need to hit the loose balls.Forget this match, it should be over in 4 days with South Africa declaring around 450-500 lead mark.I guess at least they could improve in second test but i do not see a win possible by Pakistan in this series.Personally, i think the series would be whitewash .Its South africa all the way unless their batsmen make silly mistakes. Thanks!

Yes white wash is just a matter of time. Pakistan batting is looking even vulnerable than India batting line up. India need to find some good players if they have to do well in SA by the end of this year. But if Pakistan can churn out something about 300 runs in 1st inning than they can win here too. Pakistan is very unpredictable team. They can turn the tables and surprise us. Cheers and happy mylotting.
