i checked my FB today and i read a sad news from one of the wall posts..one of our great professors died.
Cause of death was MI..most of the people who posted their comments were Medtechs that's why they use medical terms..so i wondered what's
MI..
MI stands for myocardial infarctiona.k.a'heart attack'
, wiki says it's a result of the interruption of blood supply to one of the heart's artery...
But what i really wanna know are the causes of MI, thanks to google i found quick answers and here are they:
1. smoking
2. obesity
3. lack of exercise
4. family history
5. stress
and wiki says men have higher risks than women..

Its really a lifestyle disease. We get those diseases from our abusive and unhealthy lifestyles.

I'm sorry to hear about your Professor. Well, he's in a better place now that's for sure. I also fear for my health. I haven't been exercising for the past 5-8 years now and I've grown huge over the years. I've been feeling some pressure on my chest lately so I think I'd better visit a cardiologist. I also need to get on a diet fast.

Yes you should visit a doctor..i think you have to undergo ECG? im just not so sure if that's the right test to detect heart abnormalities..
i also have a sedentary lifestyle before but now that i have a baby i wanna be healthier and live longer for him

Yeah I guess one of the many heart disease that one may acquire if they are not careful with what they eat and do in life. I have a father who has this and so far he is coping up with the meds he is taking daily. I think this is a traitor disease that you cannot just always take it for granted since it can attack you anytime. That is why everything is being controlled in here your emotions and everything you eat or do should all be considered.

So sorry to hear that. The good ones are always the first to go, as what my neighbor says. Heart attacks are like thieves in the night, sometimes they just happen without warning. My cousin's husband was only 26 and he never had any history nor cardiac problems. He just keeled over one night after a trip and that's it. He's no longer moving or breathing. And when the ambulance came they said its a heart attack.

life really is too short..but there must be some factors why he had a heart attack.
does he smoke or does he have a sedentary lifestyle?
