Evil Dolls?

Has anyone ever heard of "evil dolls"? There is one that is encased in a museum in Florida named "Robert". Robert has quite a long history - and is so well known there are websites about him and his former owners.
More importantly - has anyone ever seen or experienced the presence of an evil doll? Robert was a straw filled doll given to a little boy in the early 1900s by a maid. Soon afterward, all sorts of mischievous occurrences began to happen around the home. Servants and family both would hear the little boy talking to "someone" in his room - that someone was Robert, the doll. Eventually, after toys were found mutilated and other damages to the boy's bedroom happened, Robert was consigned to the attic.
The boy grew up, became an artist, and his parents passed away. The doll was placed back in his old bedroom. The boy - now a grown man - married, and his wife absolutely hated Robert the doll.
When this man died, Robert was once again put in the attic until the house was purchased by a family with a little girl. She was about ten at the time. She claims after finding Robert, he tormented and tortured her constantly. Thirty years later, she still talks about those days, and believes Robert is evil.
Robert is now in a museum in Florida - and he curses those who take his photo without "permission" from him!
So - have you ever heard of any other evil dolls like Robert? Have you ever experienced one?

I do remember years ago when I was watching some spooky show on weird stuff that happens around the world and I'm pretty sure they talked about Robert. They showed him sitting in a chair and everything that happened.
I never saw one of these dolls except what they show on tv, but a lot of your spook shows in the beginning will show dolls, and some movies that are spooky will have dolls involved with it. Fun stuff, lol!

Robert even has his own website! LOL...Oh yes, movies esp. love to "feature" dolls - like Chuckie.
Also some horror anthology series. I think "Friday the 13th - the Series" had an episode about an evil doll.
Some dolls just look creepy, I guess. LIke clowns...hehehe.

Never had one but I do find this extremely interesting. I would love to read a book about this doll. And they should make a movie about this doll. I like these types of stories. I also do not believe in any of this kind of stuff. To me it is just entertainment.
