Are you comfortable to go out even if you are not yet taking a bath?

Have you experienced of going out from your house even if you are not yet taking a bath? How do you feel about it? Are you also pissed off when you are obliged to go out and go somewhere that is a bit far from your home then you were not yet taking a bath? Are you comfortable with it? I’ve already experienced this kind of situation and I was like totally pissed off the fact that I haven’t taken a bath but then I need to go out for some reason. I am not comfortable with it because it feels like sticky and scratchy.

Hi Metatronik, I'm used to take a cold water shower before leaving for my afternoon part time job. My husband and I usually would like to eat out in weekends. I would change my clothes after the bath as well. It would be really comfortable and refreshed after taking a cold shower, to get rid of the sticky dust and sweat The weather here, tropical region is scorching almost all the time, and we sweat easily Happy posting

Unless there is a bad smell coming from me or have the look and feel of being dirty, no it doesn't bug me. I don't always feel icky just because I haven't showered yet, especially in the winter when I don't do much sweating.

I never go out if I haven't had a shower, most days having a shower is the first thing I do in the morning,as I like feeling clean and fresh.Though if I am feeling rough in the morning I may go to the university shop which is across the road from where I live,to get milk so I can have a cup of tea or coffee to start the day with.Though if I am staying at home all day I may not bother with a shower till the afternoon.

Yes, I have experienced that also. It's really so annoying of thinking what other people will say on you. I am not comfortable of having conversation nor talking to people because I feel that I am so dry and that I have a bad smell....

lol ... i ve no connection with bath and going out. I calculate the sweat i m to generate, if its due to outside job, i wud prefer to bath after coming back, else i may think of an early bath. Frankly speaking, i dont like bathing. i fear u may start kicking !!

I have experienced leaving the house without taking a bath, and it did not feel good. I felt gross, and it made me overly conscious when people see (and smell!) my unwashed self. I always try to take a bath even when time is limited. A quick and thorough bath is better any day than not having one at all.

I feel the same way. It is one of the first things I do in the morning. I can't stand the feeling, even if I am not actually sticky, sweaty or stinky. I try to think of people who are unable to bathe daily, and consider myself lucky that I have this inconvienience only once in awhile. Still does not help.

I don't go out without taking a shower. I always want to feel fresh and cool. I am not the type of person that sweats a lot but I do feel sticky with the kind of humidity we have in our country.

sometimes, you just have no choice because time is of the essence. so what i do is clean myself with a hot towel, put deodorant, change clothes, brush my teeth, comb my hair, then go.

Well,i can totally related to this.Well,I have my breakfast only after my bath. Nothing to do with my religion or neither its related to other rituals. So unless i do that i do not have my breakfast or would i go outside the house. It has been a habit for long.I would like to start the day with fresh things. It does irritate you that you are sticky and scratchy.Plus you do not want people to notice that and also be uncomfortable with things.Cleanliness is always important.I never travelled yet outside without talkign bath.I am ok in delaying the travels unless and until i had bath.I have even delayed my food for bath. But then there are countries like in Arab world or desert world where water is scarce.I am aware of people who bath perhaps once a day but somehow take some precautions or things to clean themselves up by other means.Personally, i feel its nice to be clean and fresh. If possible, its nice to have a bath before going outside. But cleanliness is something that should be maintained at all costs. Thanks!
