Does anyone have any "treatments" on curing insomnia? Any self-help. Please I need your help...

I have tried two things, and both help me. One is, warm milk. Two, herb sleep tea, they sell in the market. Good luck.

Take advantage of aromatherapy. Use lavender oil, just 2 drops in your burner if you have one. Try it and I hope it will work for you.

It's not self help, but it's a cure. I had tried everything, including all sorts or prescriptions. My doctor finally gave me a prescription for Lunesta and it's working great. I go to sleep quickly and wake up feeling rested and don't feel at all groggy the next day. I know this isn't what you were looking for, but it really might be worth a try if this is an ongoing problem. Lunesta has been approved for long-term use, by the way, and is not supposed to be addictive or harmful like some of the older medications. Just thought I'd throw that out for you.

Yes I do, and it's tried and true! My son comes all the way up from Cape Cod to get it! I have to make his! It's a Sleep tea that I make myself. I grow the herbs but you can get dried ones at any health-food store that sells herbs. SLEEP TEA 2 oz. of dried SPEARMINT - Do NOT use Peppermint of ANY kind (there are several) 1/2 oz. Dried Rosemary 1/2 oz. Dried Sage Mix together and put in a tight-seal jar. Get a TEA BALL, if you haven't one already. Do NOT use one of those screen types, THEY LEAK BITS OF THE HERBS INTO THE TEA. Place 1 measured tsp. - NO MORE of mix in the ball and place in a tea cup and cover with BOILING WATER AND LET STEEP FOR 2-3 MINUTES. REMEMBER: Herbs can BACKFIRE if you don't use them properly. You can drink up to 2 teacups -at night - NO MORE! Or 1 Coffee mug - normal size, not GIANT SIZE! - no cheating! THAT's VERY IMPORTANT! Add sugar or honey if you like. Go to bed! You'll sleep like a baby! Let me know how you make out. Grandy3

Thank you. I am going to try it. I tried Melatonin before. And that worked, but some day's I would wake up grogy.

I have no problems sleeping thankfully. I see someone else suggested what I was going to say. You can buy Lavender in a linen spray. Spray your sheets and your pillow. They say it is very relaxing and that it works.
