Where I don't like to be in an office doing paperworks and then more paperworks, with datelines and target when to hand over to my boss. I prefer telemarketing or call center that allow me some flexibility. And I want to tell you the other site online I do make some money online and I choose online as my basic job whenever I don't have job to do. What about you?

Hi wong!
If I will have to choose, I would want to work online too. But in my situation, I think this is not possible considering the amount of income I can get from online source will not suffice in our day to day living. I mean as of now.
That is why I am really trying to find ways in order to get the proper strategy so that if ever I would get online what I can earn from my present job, then I would be very much willing to give up my present job.
Who knows, I may hit the jackpot one day.
Have a nice day!

Well, there are times it would be nice to work from home, and be able to earn the type of money I make working for someone else as well as give me more time to do my online/offline business. But for now, I have to work in a Call Center for someone else until something better comes along.

Hi!
What makes you prefer tele marketing or a call centre job?
In my view these jobs also require lots and lots of patience to handle indifferent customers and it is not easy.
Do you earn enough through your on line avtivities viz a viz amount of time you spend on these activities?
I prefer a desk job.

It is good to hear that your colleagueas are cooperative and you enjoy reaching sales target with them.
What about customers' attitide? Do they get convinced and buy the product(s) offered by you?

I prefer telesales because we work together to achieve target, no alone and the workmates are friendly and humble not like office people.
I earn hundred only in my currency RM100. But that enough for entertainment and some snack.

About customers, they always make me no face telling me I don't want to bother you. That is bad, I also lose some customer when I work at the call center, but doesn't matter too much, a little less motivated and I hope I can do much better next project. Thanks for your concern, dpk....have a nice day!

Normal official work, especially paper work is quite boring. You can find that you do almost the same thing everyday, without too much chance. You have to get up early in the morning and then go back to home late in the night. While to online jobs, you can set the time table to your habit. You can start to work at afternoon and finish it in the midnight, saving traveling time on the road.
But from my own experience, working online makes me lose the chance to communicate with real human. I feel lonely after a long time deal with computer.

Yes I can't adapt to its never changing environment, so boring. But I can adapt in call center. Right now there is no project for me to do, so I work online everyday to get some money.

Hi choiyee
So long as you enjoy the work you do, then the job is meant for you.
As for me, I just enjoy doing anything which gives me flexible time so that I could have more time to be with my children.

Online jobs are okay, they are a great help whenever i needed extra money. I have often used my online earnings usually as budget for lunch food at work whenever the salary is not yet given... i have also used mylot money to pay for my cell phone bills. But my online earnings aren't really that big to support my day to day expenses, noit enough to pay the electric and the water bills. It helps but it cannot fully support me and our household.
As for the kind of job, you mentioned you like being in a call center because you are able to manage your time as it is flexible... i would like to disagree on this because i have worked in a call center as agent before, there are many different time ins you can choose, but most of the time you are assigned to a specific slot and you need to ask someone if you want to switch schedules... your time would be set on the phone for at least 7 hours all the time you are at work. unlike when you work in the regular office, you have you lunch and it is flexible, you can extend too without having to worry that you are going to be tagged late... it is more flexible that every minute you log in counts. even in the middle of the day, we can excuse ourselves and go to the bank to pay bills as well and that is not a thing i was able to do working for call centers.

I really do not feel like working online is perfect because itcis not. Though I am trying to work as emuch as I possibly can, I am not able to make nearly enough money so that I would be able to support my family. I make enough for a nice dinner out or something like that once a month.
However, it is good for me right now because it gives me a little something that I am able to do while I am still there for my children whenever they need me. I do not have to miss school events or call in sick when they are sick.

I think that homebased online jobs are the most practical one to have these days with regards to spending a lot of money for travel expenses and in buying clothes to wear in the office (granting the office do not offer uniforms), you do not need to be such in a hurry to get out of the house, And of course, you get to spend time with your family. But finding a very descent salary through this is hard to find. But i have known people who have been working online via Odesk for the past 6 years and they earn between $1000-1500/month.

I guess I experienced working on real job about 5 years and in different companies. Unlike studying, working is a different world and co-workers and boss are different too compared when you are just studying. I also want to work homebased because I can focus on my job and do it well without worrying about intrigues which is many at many office jobs.

same with me. I am a housewife, I dont work but I want to earn. Thats why I decided to join mylot. As time goes by, you learn a lot from those opinions and earn more. I just then noticed that the more I interact in my lot and post more comments, I earned more. This makes me persevere more to earn and learn as well.

Yes, when possible I also want to be the boss of my own. Working for someone else is very tiring, and not to mention you have to satisfy your boss or reach the target. I tried several money making online but it's still not enough. I still need to stick on my job. It's tiring but I dreamed someday I can make enough money by not working to someone else, it's very tiring and draining.

Well, I find office works as an easy job and so I'll just stick into it. lol. Before ,I do not want this kind of job and I want adventure type of job like going to other places and work with nature stuff like that. But then I think office works still suits me. Working online is just an additional earning and like you do I am also enjoying this kind of job.

I've worked at home since september last year and it can be lonely (I do 40 hrs a week) but I love it. It's lovely to avoid the harsh weather, the expensive travel and the back stabbing in the offices. I do a customer service role working for a good company in the UK. I always wanted to work at home, for obvious reasons and it's not easy money but it's sustainable money. Hopefully I pass my probation so I can keep doing it because it's what a lot of people dream about. I know it's not for everyone but I'm also looking for other means to make money also so as to start saving. Obviously i'm doing full time but when you have flexible hours and working 25 hrs a week say - lifes pretty good. There's usually overtime available and you can certainly do quite well
