Sometimes this was been the question of the HR to me during the job interview if what are the things, project or any work that I’ve achieved and made me proud and why? Then that is the time I answer that it was my project of making designs of marketing collateral for the event concert of David Pomeranz here in the Philippines since it was even publicized both on air and print ads. Another thing that I’ve answer in other interview was when I’ve created the pattern games for the multimedia arts culmination project during my college years. Though this is not work related as it is about school project.
So what about you? What are the things or task that you became so proud and why? How are you going to contribute that in the near future especially in your industry?

I am no longer working but I would like to share with you my experience while working at the pharmacy of my brother in law which I really started. I'd say that the things that I am proud of in that job was being able to do most if not all that needs to be done without any help from others.
There was one time that I was pregnant. And due to my brother in laws's "very great" management skills and wonderful attitude(yeah right!), not even one sales clerk stayed long enough to work with him. So I was about 4 months pregnant. I usually worked from 8am 3pm then my brother in law takes over until 10pm. The busiest hours, of course is during the day. Just imagine a lot of customers in line, then medical/sales representative comes to ask for orders o just wanted to let me sign their sort of attendance sheets, the phone rings, and new stocks are being delivered. How do you think I would do? MULTI-TASK TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL! And hours after all the people have gone, I need to arrange all the new stocks on their proper places and need to clean the whole store, too! It was tiring but I was happy doing it for my brother in law.

That is really great, I haven't experience doing multitasking in profession or in job itself. Just like right now I am focusing in posting here. Rather than doing my graphic arts design since my boss is not here and 30 minutes later I am about to go home. It was just so sad that because of the mistake they will be mad at you whereas your job was really hard then you were pregnant during that time? That is not fair. For sure that is one of the greatest achievement you have ever done.

Well, I am proud of what I have done for them. It is just one of my great achievements. The greatest is being a mother to my 4 boys!

Well, the main issue I am always confronted with since I work for a call center for Yellow cab helping dispatch cabs, is how do I deal with angry upset customers, and how does it effect the rest of my day. Personally I look at this one as each one is different, and usually I try to keep calm and help work out and resolve the situation if I can, and if not pass the call on to someone else. Sometimes these people end up so upset nothing can help and they just keep on calling to harass. But since I never get appreciation for my job, it is hard to display to another potential employer what really seems to work well for me.

I believe dealing with irate customers is an achievement already wherein you were able to keep them calm and you are patient with them. I used to apply as call center agent though unfortunately I wasn't able to pass the exam. Here in our country being call center agent is really in demand nowadays. Many people are working as call center agent and can be able to deal with irate customers. Though in my case what I am finding for a job is non voice agent since I am not good in hearing accents.

Meaning you are interior designer?
Well in my case as graphic artist of course I am happy to see when it was already printed and publicized. Though at times how much I am proud there were mistakes like typographical errors that was published already in Cebu but good thing it was able to solved.

Well thats an interesting question. In fact, in many of my interviews these question has been asked to me in one way or the other.I guess most of the companies and organisations have this one listed as one of best questions to ask to get a good picture of the person they are interviewing.Personally, i was able to accomplish things which even big consulting companies and teams could not accomplish. And i did that three times in my career.I have also been best performer in the organisations i have been with and also got few awards here and there. And best of all,i have been able to contribute to the organisation even outside of my responsibilities.I have been able to contribute new ideas and things and interact with other people in organisation although different departments and work on different things and products. Not many do that, but i have been happy to do that and been proud of those things.Good to hear your achievements and thoughts.Great work.Wish you good luck in all future endeavors. Thanks!

I think the way I keep my cool does me proud because a lot of people don't show any respect. It's really important to keep that so i'm proud I can handle these things. There is a part of me that would love to respond so that's good. Also I would say that i'm happy to have done difficult jobs like working in a kitchen and various customer service roles because you're always tested and come across something new. You can't sleep in those jobs, everything you accomplish you have to earn

That is true there are working that can really challenge you to test how much you can make it. Then if you were able to pass this of course this can be easier later on.
