The fresh air we breath is now in danger it seem that some part of the World is no longer safe to live. China is one of the example it is now selling clean air in can for people to avail a fresh air to breath and the priced is not affordable to ordinary laborers in the third countries. What happened to China will happened to any part of the world in the near future. Why all these things happened? What will happen to all of us, to humanity ?

Whoa! Good initiative by the Chinese. I wonder whether people are really buying those canned 'air'. I am also shocked to even think that they can put fresh air into cans..!

It is really amazing technology putting clean air to a can. But why not develop a technology that can clean the air as a whole.

It is really scary to know that fresh air is on sale in cans that too with expensive price tags.
We all are responsible for increasing pollution around us. Some are least bothered, they are concerned with themselves only. They forget that once the situation goes out of control, they too will be its victim.

Yes, it looks surprising how air could be stored in tins.

I just wonder how they stored it on cans, considering that the can is also made of thin. Was it really safe for fresh air to be stored in cans.

Many sites in China has smokes, but the most severe one is in Beijing.
Hangzhou, located in east China, has several mornings with smog weather, the air here is not very good. I went work by bike, after reaching the work place I feel uncomfortable with my throat and it is easy for people to have cold these days.
While comes to can air, it is just a stupid business man wants to be famous.

Nothing is free in this world. Everything comes at a price and discussion is about price tag on fresh and non-polluted air.

The reason why things happened like that is because people do not know how to take care our mother earth. It is our fault for not doing something better for our earth. If we feel something is not right especially our earth, we must do something before its too late or else the fresh air we breath and the green planet will die.
Action speaks louder than words isn't it? Not just wait on something.

perhaps it is time we should all be aware of our obligation to care for earth are entrusted by Gog, the first step to do reduce the use of vehicles or industrial equipment that produce high levels of emissions, at least from themselves, their families, and the environment around us

I also think that way, it is high time for us to do something but many are reluctant for change. They always reason out as means of their living and redirect the issue to the government.

I have heard about how dangerously polluted the air was in beijing, china. I hope it does not happen to the whole world and that there is still a chance for this to disappear. It is a scary news, and i am not only worried about the cost of that particular air! i mean, i am worried of what will happen to all of us should this problem also happen here in the Philippines, or anywhere else in the world. that is indeed very alarming. =(

I am Canadian, my son just returned from a 3 week working stint in China...He was in Shanghai and Nygonhg (sp) and it is a bit of a misnomer to use the word China here...IT is, and is only Bejiing, and the area surrounding Bejiing that is suffering severe air quality! That is due to a large inversion, and the fact that this industrial area is still fully reliant on fossil fuels, namely coal!

I just don't understand why they are still using fossil fuels was there any alternatives for them

It's my first time to know that air is not free anymore... It's always in the saying that the only thing free on earth is the air that we breathe... but now it's already for sale... I just hope we can do something to save it so we can still spare some clean air for our children and the next generation.

Seriously? I remember hearing a bedtime story about the world set up in the far-flung future and how the air by then is being sold and it's no longer free. It's like they have a meter for air now and everyone gets billed for it pretty much like how they bill us now for internet and electricity and water.

It's scary that it comes to this. Can't you imagine when the fresh air no longer free? Well maybe the air in China is not really good anymore because of the coal pollution. We humans must realize and care about our mother earth since if not us, who else will care with this earth. We have to realize our obligation to care and nurture our earth the place of our living.

that air in a vcasn is a tiny can ysed only to clean debris from your keyboard thats all. It is not for people this is silly.Yes pollution in all industrial areas is rampant and its a problem we need to solve.

Oh really? what a horrible situation. Here in our country, only in the Metro Manila the national Capital Region of the country only suffers pollution but not to the point that we need to buy clean air . In the province, there are still a lot of trees that produces clean air but not unlike before. We are also worried because of some natural phenomena like landslide and flash floods due to abusive use of natural resources here in our country. Our country is rich in natural resources and so some are abusing it. Hope we will not suffer what you have been suffering there in China.

ohlord air in a can is just a small can of air used only to clean debris out of things like keyboards and other electronic parts not to breathe for Gods sakes this is a myth. sure all cities in industrial areas in the world are polluted as long as people drive cars that run on gas and emit fumes to pollute the air.there is no air in cans for people to breathe thats preposterous.

that is so sad.. air is supposedly free but in china it is now for sale just to breathe a fresh air.. I hope it won't happen in another country.. so we should act right now.. we can still save our planet from the pollution... it is our responsibility...

too bad.. I have read two blogs about China. 1. The workers in Beijing wear masks while working, 2. there are lots of patients in the pulmonary section. Awww is this the price of improving economy. I mean we all know that China is now topping the industries of all kinds, producing cheaper brands of almost everything products. If this is the price that its people have to pay, then, would we want to be highly industrialized country? sad

I hope we should be planting more than creating factories. It's food that's getting scarce because the land were used for industrilization or useless vacant buildings. If we are planting more then food wouldn't be very expensive I think.
I think I can live in a province and just plant crops and vegetables.

teotimo second time copy Are you sure thats not air in a can used to clean keyboards of debris on your computer? I never heard of air in cans for people to breathe. I have heard there's a heavy inversion layer over Beijing but that will disperse in time. All cities in industrial areas in our world are now polluted with some from car emissions. ongoing problems that do need solving.

Hatley, here's the link to Reuter's news www.reuters.com/article/2013/01/30/us-china-pollution-cans-idUSBRE90T0LM20130130 It is a Chinese millionaire who is purportedly selling the cans of air. There are many other articles about it on the net. True or not I don't know. Some of the articles are from what seem to be reputable news sources.

I remembered some ten years back my company organized a free tour for all staff to China. We climbed a mountain called Hwang San which literally translated to means Yellow Mountain. At the foothill the locals was promoting canned oxygen gas. They conned me into buying one can by saying that up the hill top the air was very thin and as such we can breathe. It cost me RMB 10.00 ( less than US$ 1.00). I did not use the small can of oxygen up the hill top. I ended up by just spraying off the oxygen when I reached the foothill.

Nothing will happen to us. the thing is we get used to the "environment" we live in. Clean air is a way to make money. Also seawater is already sold (under the name: seajuice which sounds greater). we sell the wind, the water (even we drown in it in my country, same with the wind). Nothing is for free anymore. Those with allergies have a harder time to survive. Human being is not survival of the fittest anymore. If so I probably would not be alive/there. So people like me have to struggle every day or go live somewhere where the air is more pure (or we stay inside when we can't breath). I doubt what happens to China will happen everywhere on the world. countries/government need to take care of their environment. Factories need to work cleaner. In many countries they do, in many countries they don't. It's the same with cars, etc. If a car can drive on water, gas, electricity (which is way cleaner as petrol) how come governments still love petrol cars?! (it's all about the money/taxes).

We have to do something about this if we all want to continue living. We must be more careful as to what we put into our environment or none of us will be here in the coming years.

This is a serious question. This is known as global warming. If we don't stop polluting our environment with pollutants, I think we will all suffer from impure air. I believe if all of us start protesting and letting everyne know what an unhealthy type of environment we live, and really scare people, maybe something will be done about it. This will only happen when people start to think that our health is more importnt than money.

Canned air? That's ridiculous lol, i think its just a luxury and something to power up consumerism. Rich people will buy it to prove to other people that they are rich enough that the air they breath is canned. Just like the way apple did it when everyone wanted an apple device because its classy and because it will make people look sophisticated. The idea seems stupid to me though no matter in what angle i look at it.
