I'm so excited. I am going to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic at the end of Feb.
I have had this passport two years and it's finally going to get some use. White sandy beaches and clear blue waters here I come. The resort is all-inclusive also so I get unlimited alcohol. Anyone been...please share stories.

The Dominican Republic certainly sounds like a very exciting place to visit, but sadly I have never been there.
I remember when I got my first passport, which was a very long time ago. I soon acquired quite a few stamps from various European countries and also had several entries for currency exchange because it was necessary to record such in the passport back in those days. My current passport is 6 years old and there are only 2 entries in it so far, despite the fact that I holiday abroad 2 or 3 times a year. Passports are no longer stamped when travelling between countries that are members of the European Community, so mine is only stamped if I travel outside.

Remaining in the United States may technically qualify as staying in the same country, but it is such a vast country compared to England that it involve having travelled quite a fair amount. I believe that you live in Georgia, so if you travelled to Washington then it would amount to a greater diatance than travelling to Spain or Portugal would be for me.

I have traveled through the United States, so I guess that's almost the same never been to any other country though. We have passport cards now for Mexico and Canada(only for sea and land travel though)

WOW! I've been wondering when I could get my passport stamped too. I have it for a year now but I haven't really planned yet on international travel. I guess it would have to wait for few more months or maybe years. So envious of you. Wish my time will come too. Sounds like your having summer ahead of time. Have fun and have a blast in your getaway! :)

I've never been there but my friend has. If you are a beach lover, you are going to love it. Your post made me smile. I got my passport stamped for the first time in October. I've traveled a lot but for the most part in the U.S. This year we went to Italy and I got my passport stamped in both Venice and Rome. Have a great time in the sun.

Going out of the country for leisure is so fun! You are definitely gonna have a good time relaxing there. I wish I can go some place too, but I would love to tag along some friends with me. It would be more fun.
