I have met only one mylot friend so far here.

I have never met any other member of Mylot, or at least anyone that I knew was a member of the site. Considering the level of anonymity here I am quite surprised that you managed to track anyone down, it is not as though addresses or telephone numbers are posted anywhere. To be perfectly honest, the idea of meeting another member has never even occurred to me. There is no specific reason why I should not meet someone, but it is not something that I would try to arrange.

Wow, you are lucky to meet some of your online friends from mylot who happened to be in the same country. I think there are not many Indonesian here, especially not from Bali. Well, I can entice foreigners to come to Bali instead... But I did meet 2 of my other site friend from overseas when they visited Bali, one was from Australia and the other was from Japan. Like you, I was happy meeting them. Hope to meet them again...

Hi there! i think some Filipino members of mylot has arranged the meet ups like this as well, but meeting is sponsored and in group. I am not sure though if this has pushed through? I wonder how close you were with your friends you met in mylot or in other sites you are a member of? I have mylot friends, that is true but never got around to talking to them in sms or in phone calls... you must really be close with them to have their phones already before you have met them in person. That is wonderful! I remember my membership in a local forum here in the Philippines and yes, we did have meet up or eye ball schedules, we have meet years back and since then some have remained to be friends and in contact with each other. =) Thank you and have a great day!

About meeting people I don't know will be a risky thing to do. Especially in mylot, and also there are a lot of great people here who respond my discussions, and gave me advices on all aspects of life, but I still have this skeptical thinking on people. So, I won't randomly meet people from online. Unless I know that really well, or I have that confident to meet them in reality.

hi, i am a mylot member since year 2010 and now is 2013 but still i never have a chance to meet any of the users here in mylot personally even here in country,but its okay with me maybe someday i could also meet someone who also a member of this site.

That's so nice. At least this Mylotter has become to be your real friend. I have not met any Mylot friends here. First, there are not many Chinese in Mylot according to my observation. Second, China is so large and usually the Mylot friends who I know live far away from me.

Hello spiritual brother, As you know, you and I have attempted to talk on the phone in the past, but alas my hearing creates a problem understanding you. We speak the same language, only quite differently due to accents. Middle America and India are to far apart and the travel too expensive for us to meet face to face, unfortunately. I have made several good friends on the internet who have been friends with me for years, including you. One of them I married, and I met him in a computer chat room more than 12 years ago. At that time he lived more than 1000 miles away from me, and we talked by phone and internet for 9 months before he made his first trip from Florida to Colorado to meet me over a Christmas holiday. It was another 9 months before he moved here to live with me, and at that time, my adult son also lived with me. We have been together ever since then. I recently made a new friend who lives in Oklahoma and will probably get to meet her face to face this coming spring. She has an older Aunt who she will be bringing to Denver to visit and we will connect at that time. I definitely am looking forward to meeting her. I do have another friend I hope I get to meet face to face before either of us leave this earth, and she lives in Arkansas. Thanks for the discussion!

I do think that not all are comfortable to meet people personally whom they have known over the internet. Well, we know that they are thinking of their safety. You know how many cases have been reported about people who met personally that ave known each other via internet turned bad. And so, most probably that was what your internet friends have in mind,.

Uncle if you are telling about then sorry last week I was busy in Sai Baba program and this week busy in crying. Not like to talk with anybody. Nice you meet with mylot friend and eating together can you say me the name of friend. When came with Nagpur or Wardha side then came in my town also.

So does this mean you only joined mylot to make friends and meet them in real life? I never met any of the friends I added here I also do not have any private chats or e-mails with them. I also don't expect it to happen. I don't think I have added friends who do live in my country or in the countries I visit.

I haven't met anyone from my social sites yet. There are a few I would love to meet but that will be up to God if it happens or not. In today's society it could be dangerous to meet other people.

I have several mylot friends on other sites. I chat elsewhere with them. Nut Ive never met them in person. id sure like to someday....

Wow, hope I could meet also other fellow lotters here in our country aside from my two good friends here, Ashley and Kiepher. Yeah, you cannot please anyone to meet you because of some personal reasons. Perhaps , they did not intend to hurt you that way.

Hello professor a pleasant day to you friend. It is nice to meet our friends here in "mylot". I also wanted to meet you and others but when i saw your profile i smiled and says ooh your too far from my place. I am from the Philippines and you are from India. But i am happy to read your post. Last 2years, here gathered all my lot members in one place to celebrate our christmas party. And I was very thankful to the organizers. Even i did not come to attend the party, i feel happy like i was there. Yes really happy meeting them. Hope one day we will have a global meeting party.

I'm glad to hear that you were able to meet and spend time with your friends from mylot. I think that it would be really nice to spend time with different people that I have met at mylot. I think there are a lot of good people at mylot that we can talk with and get to know.

It feels good to make new friends. But there is no need to feel sad because you didn't get telephone response . You see many people feel free to communicate on the internet but not in reality. So I think its natural to receive such behaviour.
