Give her a nice gift of well known body spray with deodorant on valentines day.

If i were in such situation, i would somehow put a little transition and hints that she has some hygienic problems most especially her armpits, i will put it in a gesture that she would noticed it naturally rather than making her feel awkward and humiliated by the situation. Lets just say, having a conversation with her such as you bought a new perfume and you bring it with you in your bag, and like let her try the perfume in a way this would pull off some hints on something fishy with regards to her smell.

This is what i'd do. I'd deliberately make myself sweaty and meet up with her and when she makes a comment say something like, 'funny you should mention that. You stink'..now people might think that's cruel!But your friends and we can say things to each other in an honest way. Somethings maybe not but in terms of personal hygene, why not? We can help each other because we do it out of love rather then being unkind so go for it. If you're worried she will develop some kinda paranoia say 'you usually smell fine but today not to - it'll get her actively thinkingwhile sparing the realisation she's a ponger 24/7.
