Hello everyone,
lately i havent been getting much sleep due to stress.
I dont know what to do or try, i just cant fall asleep.
I've been extremely tired at school, and have lost my concentration for everything.
Please leave some suggestions that would help out!
Thanks for your time.

Its difficult to be stressed and tired and still have to attend school or work. There are few things worse than lying in bed till the early dawn and then falling asleep close to the time that you have to get up ( I am sure you have experienced that too ) Facing the day worn out and exhausted can eventually impact concentration in a negative way so it is best to try and sort it out as soon as possible. What calms and soothes one person may have no effect on someone else.
Try to stay away from television, gaming and computers for at least an hour before bed. Try and eat your evening meal not too late at night and ensure that you are comfy in bed and not feeling too hot or too cold. You may want to read a book that is calming and not filled with gore and excitement. Also you could try drinking warm milk or herbal tea or playing gentle music in the background. You may find, as I did, that doing a simple sleep meditation may work. Good luck.... and dont forget to concentrate on clearing that busy mind of all stressfuk thoughts when you are ready for bed :)

I should feel warm (can't sleep if I feel cold) plus my head should not be too busy (so get rid of the many ideas, plans, etc). If I am over tired I can't sleep but mostly I fall asleep very easily. Also because I learned myself by now to go to bed if I feel tired. Sometimes a hot tea, milk or even hot coffee will make me fall asleep very easily. Also a very dark room helps me (it calms down the brains).

I do not get a lot of sleep each night, what I have to do is try to relax before I go to bed and like you I am also stressed out and feel that things are still playing on my mind when I go to bed.
I take my morphine and sleeping pills and I will say that is ok until you wake up again after a few hours and the stress, pain etc is back again.
You have to train yourself to go to bed half hour earlier each week until you get to a good time that suits you for sleep, or at least get enough rest.
