Banning movies

There are some Muslim countries that will ban movies that might be offensive to their religion. Other countries run by dictators might ban movies if they depict their country in the wrong light. This was true of the old Soviet Union. Interestingly, the Soviet Union liked to show American movies that depicted violence to try to show that the United States was decadent and not a safe place to live.
