I am afraid about what the So-called facelift could affect me. It would mean two years of traffic and people like me who have to go to people in times of need would not be able to get there on time. It also means that I would not get the job being offered to me because I live in Quezon City and the job is in Mandaluyong. I still could not afford a car so in case I have to run from work and see somebody in Quezon City to check on her problems, I would not be able to her soon enough. Same problem I know is in the mind of my colleagues.

MMDA has a plan for not affecting the commuters for that edsa rehabilitation but I doubt it would become effective. The only thing that the people could do who usually take edsa is to adjust there time to work. As much as possible go to work early. In the future we will take the benefits of it.

One option though is take MRT which is way faster though I know they are over their capacity already. So expect a much bigger volume of passenger riding in here.

Yeah I guess for those that traverse these roads they would definitely be affected with the planned rehab of these roads. I just hope they could finish it in time since it is also hard to work alongside with the traffic passing by. I hope they could find alternative roads to ease the traffic there.

Looks like Pnoy decided to postpone the planned reconstruction on May and may be moved next year after the election and there is a viable plan on how rerouting would be done in the coming days.

They said that if this project pushes through, we would have to endure the usual traffic of an hour to become 3 hours! i think that is going to be really unbearable. imagine having to be prepared for work or a meeting 3 hours before! That would take a lot of energy! My thoughts though include why or how they are going to rehabilitate the road.. Edsa needs that, but if they are done, i hope that we can see an improvement?!

I don't know how can they do such rehabilitation in EDSA, but I think the citizen must be patient enough if that is good for the public. There might more buildings and establishment being affected into that rehabilitation but this is the solution of the traffic and people must abide with this accordingly...

I hope this So called facelift of Edsa can help lessen the traffic. I think the MMDA officer will have options on how it would not affect adversely the commuters who usually pass by EDSA to and from their work. One way i can see is riding the MRT. But that would mean also that you really have to wake up early, so you can take your line at the MRT stations. I really hope it won't affect adversely the commuters.

You must not think of the future in the negative sense, people can move forward and lead life with the positive message. This will be helpful on my way to work.

This is plain BS in my opinion. Rehabilitate EDSA? Come on! It's election time, can't they be more obvious?! I guess you can sense my extreme distaste on this matter. Who wouldn't? I am a motorist who traverse EDSA and suffer its nightmare every single day. It takes me 2 hours to get to my work from Quezon City to Taguig. They haven't even fixed the traffic problem of EDSA yet and now they're adding more problems.

I think it's a matter of thinking the future benefits. EDSA is so congested, traffic is a usual occurrence. If we postpone the facelift or what the project of the government is, then problem stays as is. On the other hand, if we do the project now, problem goes up for a few months to years but expect to reap the benefits soon afterwards. Two cents.

Hi mimiang. Most of the people who are living in that area are greatly affected by the rehabilitation of the road. Hopefully, the government could find alternative routes in order to reduce the burden it may bring about to the commuters. Anyway, this project will also benefit everybody in the long run. Let us be patient. Have a nice day! I live in other region that is why I will not be affected by this project. Although I also feel sad for the people who live there.

Yeah I hope the rehabilitation methods will take place good enough to accomodate motorists who will go to work as the project starts.
