Au Jus

While we all love to dip our french dip sandwiches in this beef broth, when making a beef roast using a packet of au jus prepared as on the packet and poured half over your roast will make it more tender and moist. The other half of the packet can be drizzled over your cut up veggies. Using aujus this way can make your roast taste similar to prime rib.
I serve this with a fresh loaf of french bread and you have dinner.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, I haven't had a french dip sandwich in a while - ohhhhhhhh, that sounds so good right now! I've actually never made the dip part - I hadn't realized there was a packet for it. But now I will be on the search for it! I can see how the taste would just bump up a roast meal . . . hmmmm, I think I have one sitting in the freezer. Thanks for the tip!!!!!!!!

Yes there are packets for the aujus or you can just use beef bullion cubes too. Just make sure you melt the cubes in water before pouring over the roast and veggies
