After I ate the meds, sometimes in a blue moon, I have breakdowns due to pressure. How to handle mental breakdown which causes me to have shaken finger and unstable mind?

I am a person that deals with depression in my life and I do find that there are times that I do breakdown. I can't speak for everyone, but I can speak for myself. For me, I really do believe that the reason that I have breakdowns is because of the fact that I am a person that tends to internalize everything and I will not always react to it until I have kept things bottled up for so long that it all bubbles over and I cannot hold it in any longer.

I can relate with this one. I have not taken meds in a long time for depression, etc as I choose not too, and have found better ways to cope with things. But there are days when something hits, and I would Love to crawl back in bed and just hide, and feel crummy. Sometimes it when you just learn no matter what, to pick yourself up, and learn to count all the Blessings and Good things in your life. Maybe for today things are not going the Best, but there will be a day looking back when you will truly appreciate all that you had.

personally, my antidote for depression is prayer. i pray frequently. i woke up before sunrise to pray and cried out my sorrow. my wife when in too much pain...pray while crying then after few days, she will tell me and again she will cry. praying and crying helps her a lot. i always read Bible verses to her. you may try it.

It might be worth keeping a diary, so that you can see what causes you stress, and then if you can see a pattern, and see what the trigger events are, then you might be able to look at the underlying reasons. there are some situations that stress me out, and I find that if I understand the underlying causes I can manage it better.

I suffered from depression too.. If you take tablets only when you feel depressed it will not be helpful in any way. If you are in treatment for depression and you should take tablets every day with a miss. If you miss tablets for some days and start taking it when you feel depressed. It will get worse. I told you this based on my experience. So visit a psychiatrist and take tablets as directed.
