I used to love reading when I was young at school, but now I have to do a lot of other work perday and I hardly have a time to read. I really need to improve my mother tongue and I'm willing to 'coz I am a translator, shift between my native language and English is the very common thing for me, but recently I surprisingly found that I am so poor in my native language and I can seldom search a beautiful word in my head, so can mylotters give me some advise how can I get into reading under my situation.

Thank u all for being aware of my topic, and recently I finally found a better way for me to get into books. I found out my own notebook which is the one that recorded my whole life in high school, it contains a lot of beautiful articles transcripted from books I read and my own words, that was a task that our teacher wanted us to do every week. So now I don't need to try hard to find books everywhere, I only need to attend to it and it is really a precious one in the world.

you should try after doing work if you will start reading only for an hour you would feel great.

You really need to squeeze some time to read and charge yourself, translator isn't as easy as other people think. So it's great for you to use good transition between this two languages.

I read in bed every night before I go to sleep. I read whenever I am in a waiting/holding pattern situation. People are popping out their laptops and tablets, I pop out my Kindle reader. I can understand being busy with work, but I take advantage of every down minute to squeeze in some reading.

How often do you read newspaper in your native language. Sometimes, it might help you to rekindle the interest to read in your native language with interesting news, or other online articles. I am sure in the internet, especially those ebook never short of interesting story to read, you just have to find it yourself.
