Last week at our office we had an APE or an Annual Physical Examination which included an Eye examination which was my first time that my eye would be check. When it was my turn to be checked up I was surprise when that I almost really couldn't read a clear letter which was almos 10feet a way from me. After the check up the doctor told me that my astigmatism was too high even a corrective glasses could'nt help anymore, she said for me the best solution for this is for me to wear an eye glass to prevent it from worsening. SO I ordered a pair of glasses for P2,600.00 which also has a coat of I don;t know what they call it when using a computer. I'm just waiting for the glasses to arrive to try it on if my vision is much clearer than before. I think I will having a hard time being comfortable with it, because it would be my first time to use a reading glasses.

If you have astigmatism, you should have prescription glasses. also, ask if you have other eye related issues like myopia or other diseases. Maybe that contributes too to your eyesight. Is the doctor who examined you an ophthalmologist or an optometrist?
