This phone is phenomenal. With just a price of Php3,990.00, you get a dual core processor worth 1.2 GHz each, 512 Mb of RAM, 200+ ppi (pixels per inch), a WVGA screen, and other specs you may recognize as jargon. My sister bought one for herself just last month. Me, being skeptical with locally branded phones, I observed it for quite some time as my sister used it because I'm a heavy user when it comes to phones, especially when the phone can connect to the internet on 3g, at 512kbps, not to mention all the gaming you can do with the device. Adding up to it's awesome arsenal is a 5 megapixel camera at the back. The front camera is only VGA but I don't really take pictures of myself too often (only when I'm feeling sexy 
). This would definitely be a great but for me. By the way, it's On Ice Cream Sandwich so that's also a plus. If you want more details, you go straight here:

My dad needs to have his Cherry mobile phone replaced. Though I am not sure what my sister will get for him but I just know she is planning to buy him the same brand, too. I just wonder if he would like the features of this one since this has more features than his current phone.

This phone is the best one considering it's price and specs. Although, if you really don't have the money, then you can't really do anything about it, right? I hope that your sister buys this phone, though. It would really be a loss if she passes this up.

Too late, I already had a 19" lcd monitor, screen cleaner, and optical wireless mouse for 50 pseos more than the price of your phone.

hi frontvisions. :D its really cheap for the functions and the specifications! :D this would have been quadruple the price if it was a samsung phone. :D But i admit i am still skeptical as i am conscious in buying phones especially if they are phones that i would be using all the time - everyday and almost letting it rest when i rest myself.
Thank you for sharing but i might consider if i plan to change my second phone (already when i am done with my line this coming december. so maybe cherry will have better phone and specs by then too. :D

I don't think Cherry Mobile is associated with any plans from Globe, Smart and Sun Cellular, although I don't really check their offers. Flare isn't really that expensive to just settle for a phone line. I suggest you just buy yourself a unit instead of committing to a 2-year contract which could lead a to additional payable interest and overdue balance. It's your choice, though, in the end. This is just a suggestion.
