what is do you think is the best religion? is there a point of asking and answering this question? according to Dalai Lama, there is no such thing as a best religion. do you agree with him or you have a religion in mind that you consider the best among the rest?
but if you are going to ask me, i think there is no best religion because it is not the religion that matters, it is your faith and belief that there is a supreme being who created you out of love and care, that's all.

Music is the best religion \M/
Jokes apart there is no such thing as good religion. Its more like a good morale. Cause beliefs, ideas and concepts vary from one religion to another. We must take the good stuff from everything compile it into one and teach it to our kids. That is what is called "MORAL EDUCATION"

Yes everyone thinks their religion is best but not one of them is the best because your faith and beliefs are just what you think and feel about god. Really tho all religion is is different ways of believing in god or s high being. Now what you think and how you feel is opinion and that cant be considered best or worst. so there really is no best religion.

Questions about why a nation that is known for violent manners and religious change and easy to commit acts of violence on others, the answer is never clear, and varied. Is this a factor of religious, ethnic, economic, political, and other factors, it is still a matter of debate. The function of religion is still debated by scientists, whether religion as a cause of conflict or religion as a factor of social integration.

it's sad that religions are the cause of conflicts and misunderstandings among believers most of the time.

Hi friend
In my view every religion is equal and there is no such religion which we can all the best , as every religion has its positives side as well as negative side . It solely depends up on one 's faith and belief .

Your right, for me a religion is just another form of organization all of them are teaching good moral characters when it comes to serving all living things surrounding us. I am a Roman catholic since birth but I am liberated when it comes to interpretations. What I love most in my Religion is I am at my own when I feel going to the church and pray and even praying anywhere and anytime where I am I feel comfort and satisfied I don't knew why. I don't want anybody reminding me of what to do for I am a responsible person, worthy of trust for I know where I stand and who I am. Sometimes I feel annoyed by preachers who speak too much but in reality they don't even know how to bring their own lives together.

we feel the same way. sometimes, those who teach about what is right are those who do not do it.

A religion is made up of a group of people that share the same beliefs. Let's take religion "X" as an example. If everyone on earth belonged and followed religion "X" would the world be a better world or would it be the same?
So which religion would produce a world where every one would treat each other with love and respect? Which religion would produce peaceful people?

Yeah. I agree that too. Religion would not save us at all either. What important is the faith that is within us like faith in God no matter what religion we have here on earth. It says, love one another even though we have different beliefs and God wants to be that way. He does not look into religion but he looks at the heart of each person here on earth.

You've got the right idea, but a slightly-off conclusion. You see, your conclusion factors-in the misguided belief that "you" matter somehow. Maybe you do, but not enough to factor that in.
You were right about the "love & care." Maybe a truer belief would be "there is love & care in the world, and you can't handle it alone." That's why religion is good, it gives a banner to lead the large group you are in.
The best philosophy---it depends on where you are in life. Children need Christianity; my strong Christian faith is the reason I'm still alive today! But I can only see that through Buddhism.
Buddhism shows me that Christianity is the best religion, because it a) provides followers with one uniting god & b) sets all followers 'as worthy as part of that god' and c) it's the one closest to me.
If I were closer to Islam-dominated places, THAT would be the way to go (as it ALSO features 'the grace of a god' to be our salvation from the grave).
And Judaism for Judaism-dominated places, & Hinduism for Hinduism-dominated places ... it's who you're with that tells you who you're with

Well, you are right, there is no best religion, but there is one more thing I want to tell you, never trust Dalai Lama, that man can not be treated as a symbol of religion,he is a cruel people and order some of his subordinates kill themselves to achieve his political goal,he never treasure people's lives,he just takes his people as tools.

One should never argue about religion. The important thing is, you believe that there is a god and nothing else.

Each person believes that their religion is the best or they wouldn't belong to that faith. People tend to pick the church they raised in. Sometimes it is because they would be shunned by their family if they left that church. Some change because of their spouse. Others may changed because they believe what that church teaches.
It seems there is a religion for every need like all the soups, shampoos etc that we might pick over another.

i agree with you. it doesn't matter what religion you think is the best because what matters the most is that you have a faith that you will be saved.

Jesus is the only way to salvation so if a religion teaches this doctrine without any reservation then the religion is teaching the truth. In choosing a religion we all have to be careful about what that religion teaches. There are those who pretend to believe in Jesus but apart from that they have beliefs which are not at all biblical. A religion should be Christ centered and Bible based. If not it is a cult and not religion. Now your question which is the best religion. Just find a religion that teaches the truth of the Bible only and centered to Christ only so that you will not be misled. If you find this kind of church then you are in the right religion. Now among those religions that teaches the truth only you can not really say one is considered the best. It does not really matter which is the best for we can't really say one is the best among others. To choose one as the best would be unfair to others. For as long as the church is teaching the right doctrine then it is a good church. While it is true that religion is not the way to salvation, people should be very careful about choosing their religion because there are those that will lead you to hell instead of heaven. So be very careful.
