Are you the type who wear your favorite clothes more often than you should?

The thing is, I have this favorite jeans. I think it looks good on me, it's so comfortable I could wear it to sleep, hahaha, and I bought it at a relatively cheap price. It can say that it's my most perfect pair of jeans. I want to wear it often because it's really my favorite, but of course I can't for hygienic reasons. Sometimes I would wash it right away so I could wear it the next day. I just hope that my co workers would not notice that I wear the same jeans more often. Somebody even complimented me in that jeans and told me I look sexy in those (don't get me wrong, a lady told me that). What about you? Just want to know your thoughts. :)

I guess it's fine to wear our favorite jeans often. I wear my favorite jeans on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I also love the way they look on me. I don't wear them to sleep though. I don't feel comfortable wearing jeans when I'm sleeping.

No worries. You don't have to write "sorry." If I only wear them for an hour or two, I can use them again next time. If I wear them for the whole day, I wash them. When they are newly bought, I could wear them on Mondays and Wednesday or Wednesdays and Fridays. I make sure to leave one day before wearing them again. Though I don't care if my co-workers will notice that I'm wearing the same jeans. I feel comfortable wearing them so it's up to me if I'll wear them or not. Oh, so you were just exaggerating. Some people can sleep with their jeans, I thought you were one of them.

No, I'm not one of them. My pajamas far more comfortable than jeans, and it's a bad idea to wear my pajamas to work, lol! Good for you though, you are not lazy to wash clothes often, I hate washing clothes.

I was just exaggerating,I'm not really wearing jeans in my sleep. I was just trying to say how comfortable it is. Do you wash you jeans after every wear, or after three uses? Just curious, sorry!

I am just like you my friend. I have one jeans that i kept on wearing even if i have already worn it already the other day. That's because i know it really fits me well, and feel good wearing it. Though, i have other jeans, that one is my favorite. So, one of these days i will be looking for a jeans of similar fit and brand. But of course different design, so my office mates won't think i only have two jeans.

Let's give each other a high five! But sometimes I don't really care if they think I only have two pairs of jeans.

I dont know if you are a guy or a girl..I checked and verified with some of my girl friends, they dont care what boys wear. They say they hardly care what they wear and what they don't..ha ha. Having heard that I have been wearing a jacket that my bro-in-law gifted me this christmas, to my office evryday for this entire week. Its warm and very comfy and I can't think of anyother warm clothes when I am to wear to my office..

Hi! I'm a girl, I guess wearing jacket very often is not bad at all since it's purpose is to keep you warm.

Who gets to decide whether you've worn something more than you should? Is there a rule, you can only wear certain items a certain number of times? If you love something, wear it as often as you feel comfortable doing so.

Hi dawnald, yes you're right, only us can decide how many times we can wear some clothes for as often as we want. The problem is if it's hygienic. :)

I have to admit that I do wear my favorite clothing a lot. There are some things that I will wear and wear until they can be worn no more. What's the point of spending good money on a piece of clothing only to have it left hanging in the closet never to be worn again.

You are so right my friend! We must make the most out of the things we bought with our hard earned money.

Yes, especially if really feel comfortable and it makes me look and feel good. Sometimes clothes too define or rather reflects our personality on how we wear them and how they project that impression of how we look, lol! The only problem with me regarding that is my wife won't allow me to wear it, lol!

i think you can get away with wearing your jeans at least twice a week (not back to back though). lol. i have clothes that i like to wear all the time. i mostly spend a lot of time in my pajamas because i am a stay at home mom. i have a favorite pair of pajamas that i wear at least three times a week. i don't care. no one is at home, but my family to see me. as long as i take showers and keep clean.

No I'm not that type of person. If I have new clothes, I will waer often but as time goes by and it's not new anymore, I will just wear it once or twice a month. But I don't have favorite clothes, same for the shoes. Everything I buy is what I really liked so much that's why I don't have favorites in my clothes or sheos.

Hi autumdreamer, yes it happens to a lot of us. The ones we used to be our favorites will eventually become not that our favorite anymore, specially when we shop a lot.

Of course , I often do that. Usually I wear dresses that are very favorite for me. But if some dress I feel I like it or it is very much comfortable for me. Therefore I wear it often. And this has put me in some embarassing moments also. As soon as my friends see me they will ask "do you have only this dress, don't you have any other, wearing the same shirt/jeans again and again" ... . And the problem is that they will ask it publicly and not personally. Anyway they are my good friends and I should also enjoy with them.

That's what I'm talking about. I don't want people to notice that I've been wearing the same pants over and over again. It's really embarrassing because they would think that I have no other clothes than that, :) but that's okay.

good day kourdapya, honestly speaking, almost all of my clothes are my favorite because they are all fruits of my labor. although there are some sets that i really want to used every now and then. hence, if i found clothes that i really want to wear very often, i choose to buy another one with same design. sometimes, i am ending up buying 3 pieces having the same designs just to make sure that i have a reserve inside my closet. and it would not require me to wash it immediately since i have two more inside the cabinet.

Hello airasheila, thank you for your comment. Yes, it's our hard earned money, that's why are very smart in choosing our clothes. I just wish I have more to splurge for some more. Have a nice day!

Not on consecutive days. I would probably wear it once a week if it's pants. If it is a blouse, it is going to be obvious if you wear it too often.

Yes, it is unnoticeable for the bottoms to get noticed if you were them often. My favorite tops however, I wear them once a week.

Hey Kourdapya, I get what you mean and i'm so totally guilty for that. Sometimes when i like a shirt or pants alot, i just keep wearing it. I'm also afraid that my friends will see that i keep re-wearing the same thing. So i still will force myself to change to sometimes else. Furthermore, we also need to wash our clothes!! You mentioned that it's so comfortable you can wear it to sleep. Do you really wear it to sleep?

Hi dream_ozn! No, I don't! It was just an exaggeration just to say that it's so comfortable.

I used to do that as well. If I like a shirt, jeans or shoes - I would weear it more often than others. The thing is even if you want to wear it everyday for the fact that you feel good since it's comfy and looks good on you - you still can't. As washing and ironing is necessary lol! But there is a solution to that. You can buy one more so that you'd get to wear the same kind as often as you want to.

oh I am not the type of person who wears clothes often. I just wear my clothes maybe one or twice a year, only not included the uniform lol. Uniform is always lol. But as for my dresses i just wear them once or twice a year, for the reason that i want different clothes in every picture hahaa and depends on my mood too.

I do have a favorite pair of clothes to wear .Its my favorite because it gives me the comfort I want when ever I have to move abruptly.Usually I pick clothes depending on the comfort it can give me I want clothes, shirts, pants and jeans to be comfy, smooth and I want air that can pass inside it whenever I am wearing them hahahah it doesn't matter to me if it's not a signature brand as long as it fits me well and I am comfortable wearing them.

Brands don't really matter to me as well, although there are brands that are really comfortable but the price is just so impractical, especially for someone like me who earns just enough for my needs. But then there are cheap ones out there that gives the same comfort as that of high end brands, you just have to be a smart shopper. Guess we both are smart shoppers here, huh!

I also have this trait sometimes that I don't want to wear anything else but my favorite clothing. Of course that is if I can get away with it, like jeans and some shoes.

Some people tend to get attached to their dresses and its quite common. What you coul d probably do is go shopping and find the same one or something similar but pick a different colour as if even if you do wear one pair on a day and the other pair on the next day, people would think that its the same one

Thanks, good advice, but unfortunately,I don't think I would be able to find another one like that, I mean that's cheap I bought it on sale, of course there are others with the same design and fabric, but at a more expensive price. Guess I'll just go hunt for good finds again when sale season comes.

I have so many clothes I had to rent an additional storage to put them all, but even so I understand exactly what your talking about. I only wear a segregated few pieces of my collection for my normal casual wear, which is 95% of the time. What you can do with that favorite pair of cool, sexy, comfortable, makes you feel good pair of jeans, or even blouse, sweater, jacket, etc.... Is purchase additional pairs or pieces of that identical style and color and rotate wearing them while your other pair or piece is being laundered, even you might want another color of the same style. I have known plenty of other women that purchase every color made or one style of clothing when they like it and the fit, look and comfort all come to place. Feeling comfortable with your self makes a big difference about the world.

That's a good idea. I can do that next time. But this favorite perfect jeans I'm talking about, I could not find any other that looks exactly the same because I bought it on sale and it's the only one of that item that's left. Definitely feeling good about ones self makes a huge difference, I must agree!
