my brother was petitioned to Canada with his wife.they fought for a long time issue and he decided to come back to Philippines. Now, he is trying to get a work at 47 years old after giving up a good career here before. My cousin backed out to the last minute when his visa, ticket and everything else just arrived, supposedly going to Dubai with a job waiting, with his family waiting. He's been a bum here for the longest time. Waste of money, waste of moral support. I just dont get them, when they have all the chance in the world for free, just a click, then they back out for it, while me and others like me, who got no one to help me, really wanted to go try out another land, another air. they have their reasons, yes I understand, but these opportunities doesn't happen anytime we want it...just thinking, why, it should have been me and others like me...

over flowing emotions might affect decisions in life for some are attachments others are for pros and cons when deciding and some are for the benefits of themselves and loved ones, Probably they see things brighter to stay than leaving and much less costly and others that may affect their way of living when they left. Unfortunately, giving up one's opportunity is a big waste to see better things that life can offer it might be a chance for something special and probably a regretful chance haven't been seen in time. cause to delusional state "what if I did grab an opportunity somewhere?Probably I've gotten better what I got today" :)

It was their choice you can do nothing about it, We all have our chance in life. Just be prepared when it will happen to you, in the future.

This actually depends on the person and what his goals, or what their wants in life are. Some people just love to stay in their country, some like you wants to try their luck in another country. As for me, i do not like to try it out in a foreign land, this is because i am stable here, i have a nice job, i have friends here and family here and there is no need for me to try my luck and re-adjust again somewhere i am not familiar with.
Sometimes people only has to prioritize what they want and when it comes as an opportunity, do not miss it. people often misses out on an opportunity because often when it is in front of us, we get scared already.

Whatever reasons they may have, I'm sure they are satisfied with the result. There are just things that other people feel that we might not able to comprehend.
Everyone of us are being given an opportunity. Sometimes it might come in a disguise so better watch out.
Have a nice day!

Most people fail to look at these opportunities as ways to experience the world. More often the person who gets the job is willing but his/her family cites dumb reasons not to go and the person unable to go against the will of the family refuses the job and gets stuck where they are. It really is sad

It was a test for them on how they could hang on to the kind of life they have. You are a person who can do on your own without much help and yet still could be successful. They lost their chance, too bad....
