During school days I would try to sleep as early as 10 pm because I need to be up early for the kid's school. Three days ago, I have decided to sleep at 12 pm so I will have time to come online and do some discussions. I have to be up at 5 am so that leaves me little time for sleeping, right? I wonder if there are any of you there having the same weird sleeping schedule.
If I sleep early, I would never be able to improve my online participation because I have other things to do earlier than this. So 12 pm is my new sleeping time. Do you think it is too late?

I think you mean 12 am? Unless you consider 17 hours little time to sleep?
Since I get up around 3 in the morning, I try to get to sleep by 9pm. It doesn't always happen, so I might have to take a nap after I get home. However, with my new schedule being split shift, I'll probably be splitting my hours for sleeping as well. Either that, or not get enough sleep at night, and that just won't do as I for one need my sleep! LOL
Happy mylotting!
PS By the way, I think it depends on the individual. I myself prefer to get at least 6 hours of sleep. However, some people need more while others do fine with less. So long as you can function on 5 hours of sleep, you shouldn't have a problem with it.
Good luck!

Its mixing up the AM/PM thing. Twelve PM is around midday, when the sun crosses the imaginary line on a time zone signifying half of the day is over. Needless to say it is broad daylight no matter what the weather is, gloomy, stormy or clear. Twelve AM is at midnight, the time when a new day is beginning, turning over the date on calendar to the next digit. It is dark as it can be, sunrise still a few hours away.

Hi there Cutie18f,
Honestly speaking, I am taking my sleep around 2 am. This is due to my online gigs. As I need to fulfill my target so I really need to do this. Aside from the offline task that I am doing in the usual morning time, I am extending up to 2 am as much as possible.

Hello there, cutie! :)
I know what you are going through. It really does take time on spending time with family and your own personal schedules. You have to divide carefully the times you have to do what you need to do in order to make money as well.
That's what I do as well. I take care of my niece and do mylot for my spare times when I'm not busy at house chores. It's really hard to earn money when you only have mylot as your online money source. That's why working hard to earn more is what we have to do at times.

Its good to know that am not the one only awake at night , some classmate Mylotters are also awake. This is our free time , so grab it right ? I am more weird than you because i sleep earliest is 12;30 and mots late would be 2;30. I am still awake those hours just to do Mylotting because i can't afford to waste chance in earning .

My shift at work is 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm so I can go home around 10:00 pm and I can go to sleep from 12:00 midnight to 1:00 pm. That is my everyday routine and I can say that I used to that schedule. I wake up the next day from around 9:00 am to 10:00 am, so I think my sleeping hours is enough for the next day stressful activities. lol. I am doing Mylot after my tasks at the office.

It obviously depends on how much sleep you need, I need about 10-12 hours sleep, but that's due to my medication, I usually go to bed at 1am and wake up at 1pm, although Fridays I have to be up early but I still go to bed at 1am, and get up at 10am. I tend to be more of a night owl in that I am more active at night, I am definitely NOT a morning person, even when I worked I would choose shift patterns to match my sleep patterns.

It is late and I am stuck in the same situation myself, too. I can write on my smartphone and do other tasks on it during the day. However I can only have access to a laptop from 7pm. With the slow internet connection and sometimes some sluggish sites, I end up doing my work at 12mn or even 1am. I don't want to sleep that late so I try to accomplish everything by 12mn if I could. I also have to wake up early at 6am because I have a small top up business which my cousin contacts me during the day for.

So, you're going to sleep at noontime?
As another commenter pointed out, 12 p.m. is noon. Midnight is 12 a.m.

It doesn't matter to the Internet.
Oh, maybe your surfing-speed is faster or slower at times; but it'll all be here whenever you get to it
That's another difference between IRL-interaction & VR---'people have to be there' to let you in IRL; in VR, all you need is maybe for people to-have been, -plan to be OR -be there when you are!
Don't think of your time on myLot as 'something you have to schedule'---though I DO devote a lot of time to myLot (so much that--if I didn't have a clock on my computer-screen--I'd have an aching neck from turning around to see the time so often ), I'm not 'hurrying to make a quota of posts' like it's a JOB or something!

I usually sleep nowadays around 12 pm too. I have a three year old son and he sleeps late. I attend to him that is why I can't sleep early. Anyway we can do many stuffs together like playing and studying and watching TV and when he is tired he would sleep already however he wakes up late too. :-)

I will say increase one more hour in your sleep because 5 hours of sleep is not enough. Then you will say that you have some responsibilities to be taken care of but I will say health should be your foremost responsibility. Now I will not start teaching you importance of sleep because you already know that.

Since you have to be up at 5, it is late as everybody needs 7 hrs sleep for the body to recover lost energy and generate new cells. But if you can manage with 5 hrs of sleep then well and good because what works for one person might not work for another
