I just picked this up in our discussion in Philosophy. It says there that education is meant to be for learning, however, as we can all observed, education had become a "test-taking" activity rather than a creative and full of excitement activity. It tends to caught us in this manner of viewing education making it dull and boring. We became grade-machines rather than a unique and critical thinking individuals.
What can you say?

You're right in some of your points. But you're missing some. Indeed, education has made individuals to be more creative and critical in thinking. Take my advice...don't rely on your classroom discussions. Do the research on your on about the topics related on your studies. If you find some contradictions from your findings and that of your teacher. Raise questions creatively. Argue to the best of your ability... participate in discussions. Don't wait for the Test Papers to be passed on you for you to answers. Challenge yourself...
I don't think study would be boring for you...good luck!
