Similarity between chritians and islam?

s there is any similarity between to of this religion. i think one common similarity is peace.

I live in Italia. The major part of my country considers itself "Catholic", but in truth only a few persons go to church every Sunday.
I am not neither Catholic nor Muslim, so I can't speak about something I don't know, and yet I can tell you one thing Catholics, Muslims and Jews have in common in this period in my country: the homophobia.
Our new governement tried to do some new laws pro gay couples, but the representatives of these three monotheistic religions barked at them.
What a shame....
