No matter how small or big my task is, I believed God is bigger to those things.

A pleasant day Fellow Mylotters,
For every topic that I am doing, I always lifting up every bits to God. As in, I always say a little prayer for this, asking help from God to back-up my work. Hence, I really believed in the power of prayer. No matter how big or small the task that I am working on, I am always lifting up everything to God, for I believed He is bigger to those things that I am trying to accomplish.

Very true friend , with God nothing is impossible ! All we need to do is to do our best then rest is for God. He listens and hears even our silence . No need to shout , our whisper is so audible to Him . God is good all the time !!!!

Hello Airasheila I want to share this comment of Saint Thomas Aquinas with you, it is about prayer. I love to pray just like you, I thought you´ll enjoy it.
Praying to God at once makes us intimate with God since our souls rise up to him, engage lovingly with him and worship him in spirit and truth (Jn 4,23). And thus, in this familiar friendship with God that prayer produces, the way is opened towards an even more trustful prayer. Hence it is said in one of the Psalms: “I have called upon you,” that is to say I have prayed with trust, “for you have answered me, O my God” (Ps 17[16],6). Having been received into God's intimacy by a first prayer, the psalmist then prays with even greater confidence. That is why, where prayer addressed to God is concerned, perseverance or insistence in asking is not out of place. To the contrary, it is pleasing to God because, says the Gospel, “we should pray always without growing weary” (Lk 18,1). And besides, our Lord invites us to ask: “Ask and you will receive,” he says, “knock and it will be opened to you.”

I have been learning more and more on this topic, for me I am nothing without God and everything that I am blessed with the "the glory belongs to God". It took me years to learn this.I also like to pray for guidance and wisdom everyday, and also to be a blessing to someone else, I was always caught up in selfish ways of thinking but I have since learned that it is better to give than to receive and not just at Christmas!

Hi airasheila. I agree with you fully on this. No matter how big, or small, great or not everything in life is nothing compared with God's ability to help us.
I know this for sure because i have had several instances where i had my world crumble upon me but God lifted me up, made me better and pushed me forward and I feel even if my success is incomparable to the success stories in Televisions, I know I have come a long way.
i always bear in mind that God is my saviour, in every thing, he saves me and helps me answer well in exams, he saves and helps me in my interviews, in my jobs and has helped me advanced my career too. i mean everything is just according to God's purpose and we would realize that when we see and feel how much everything is falling in to place.

Hello Airasheila I´m very pleased to read you, I hope that you are fine. I´m just like you, and it seems as I get older I pray more.
Jesus encourages us to pray without rest. But I think God loves simply prayer, as if you were talking to a kind friend, without too much words.
Saint Matthew 6:7
Jesus said to his disciples: «In praying, do not babble like the pagans, who think that they will be heard because of their many words.
Do not be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him".

I'm under the belief that everything that we do here in this world should be for the greater glory of God. Of course, God is not only there as a landline for help. There is also a need to thank him for all the things that we have; all the blessing great and small.
