Who useful are traffic exchange sites ? / myLot

Hi friends, I recently joined a traffic-exchange site thinking that it will bring some traffic to my blog. But I guess the traffic is not having any quality. I was wondering what is the benefit of traffic exchange sites then since I know many of my friends joining and praising them. If it is not benefiting your blog/website then I guess what is the use of joining such sites ? Did any of you guys join traffic exchange sites ? Or do you have any idea if they are really beneficial or a waste of time ? I am so confused and need help.

Everyone will have their own opinions of Traffic exchanges - Some good and some bad. I use traffic exchanges to make money - I find Autosurfs to be the better ones. I have made over $100 in 4 months at Redgage - All on TE's

I joined EasyHits4U. I posted some links to my sites. I did get a lot of visitors and connect requests but not one person signed up using my referral link. Plus I had to keep surfing to earn more views. I gave up. If I had a website or blog, I might have continued with EasyHits4U.

I think they are doing it as part of change. If they enjoy by doing, then there is no waste of time but in a normal way your right a waste of time.
