Avail warranty before it ends...

I have this friend who is using an Iphone 4S for almost a year now just like me.Last week, I told her that there is new ios update for apple and tell her that don't even try to update her phone since there is no much changes with the new update and I even read some bad feedback about it, I read one topic about it here in mylot.
A week after,last Wednesday we see each other again and said that she already updated her phone.The problem is her phone don't have any signal at all after the update so she can't receive any calls or text messages from anyone.We even try to reset the phone for several times yet no changes at all.
We went to our network provider to check what seems to be the problem of her phone.After few minutes of check up, the one assisting us said that they will send it to their service center for thorough check up and to see if it is replaceable since it is still covered by the warranty.It will be two weeks in time so I just let my friend used my other phone for the meantime.
Good thing that the problem occur before the one year warranty end this coming March.
Have you ever used the warranty of the products that you purchased?

well, up to this moment I am only once using the warranty of my stuff because I am too lazy to go to the service center :D and mostly I needed it so much and I don't have anything alike to use while my stuff getting serviced, for example my notebook
it has nothing wrong, just there's a deadpixel in it's screen. but if I went to the service center, I can't do my work since most of my stuff is in my notebook. also I don't have any PC nor other notebooks
so, most of my warranty just went expired :D

Oh thats the factor sometimes. Laziness to go to their respective service center wherein sometimes there are so many customers, long lines, ling waiting for your turns then then will say that you will come back since their be doing some cehck ups then when you come bakc, still the gadget is still on repair or still in technical aspects.

Oh thats nice, good for you that everything is well after the update. The csr assured that it will be replace if their is no tamperation of the phone which we are sure about. The phone dont fall or anything bad happened before that update happened.

I had a laptop that stopped working 3 days before the warranty expired... I took it to the place I bought it from & they told me they had to get the tech to look at it... 4 days later, I ended up getting a brand new laptop because they said the tech couldn't fix it... That was about 4 years ago & it's still working...

Oh nice to know that its been working for more than for years now.Well it would really depends on the users too but there there are also some products that are easy to break no matter how careful we use it.Somehow warranties really helps a lot occasionally.

I have never availed of any warranty for a gadget or appliances that we bought, ardoy.
I guess, i am just a careful user and when it comes to phone would just be satisfied of what it offers. Besides, i don't have time playing or using apps at my phone because i prefer to do Mylot.
Your friend is lucky that it is still under warranty.

Same here, with all the purchases that I have made that has warranties, I dont have chance to is it as well. It means that we really care of it well. Well warranties really help a lot since there are some purchases that are quite easily break.

So far, I never have availed of any warranty of the things that I bought in the past years. I am just very careful with my things so it won't usually have a problem after several years.
But my daughter's cellphone which we bought several months ago, yes. After a month, she already have a problem with her cellphone. So we have to go back to the store where we bought it.

Same here, never had a chance to use warranty on things that I bought so far.Well it shows that we really care for what we have purchased.
Well in the other hand, warranty really helps a lot in case wherein some products that we are buying are quite not that good so these warranties are really useful.

And that's why I'm always the last one here who updates the iOS on our apple gadgets, lol! On to topic, yes, we have availed a couple of our stuff's warranties and they are such big help. We are normally very careful in using our things so most of the time the problem is covered by the warranty. Good thing that I have established some filing system in our home now that we no longer have to go and look for the boxes in storage to see if the warranty card is still inside.

Oh that's a great idea to have a filling system of that and even receipts so that in case that they are still needed to be use, it is quite easy to look for it rather than just putting it just somewhere in the house wherein cause hard time looking for in case that they are already needed.You give me an idea, thanks.

Oh, that's good. I was able to use my warranty, too. My trackpad malfunctioned so I went to the service center before my warranty ended. I'm glad they changed the trackpad for free.

Oh nice that they replace it as well.My friend is just waiting for the update on when she could get the replacement that the csr told to us.Thank God that it happened before the warranty ends by March.
