Sometimes we show respect to somebody because we don't want conflict. Thought within us we don't like his/her idea or the way hat acts. To give respect to others I think it demands understanding and acceptance of what this person is? Do you agree with me?

I may have to go along with decisions at work that I disagree with but it does not mean that I like it. I am following the flow because I am a member of the team and I have to adhere to majority votes or directive from my superiors. I do show my disapproval and present the reasons of my disagreement. But with respect for the company I will carry out the resolution. As with directives that I don't agree from my superiors, I will not show my agreement but I will do it.

For me, we should respect each other as human beings and as individuals.I also believe in this saying, "Before you expect others to respect you respect yourself first." This means that one should be worthy of respect. If he is rude and bad influence to others,i think i would not respect him. Here is a person who shouts at his staff in front of other people even outside the workplace. He is also a womanizer and only sleeps during office hours. You think he deserves respect? I don't think so.
