I am getting ready to go on my cruise

As some mylotters may know, I have been planning on taking a cruise for some time. Well, the time is now. Next week, I am leaving to take my cruise. There have been ups and downs. I had a real crisis yesterday when I found out that I had booked a budget hotel in a very bad area of Miami. I had to cancel and book another budget hotel. The area is apparently much better but I am not certain that the facility is. I am in downtown Miami and convenient to everything. I wish that i did not have to travel on a budget. I will be mylotting some until I board the ship but probably infrequently. It is a 7 day cruise and I probably will not be mylotting that week as internet is very expensive on a ship. I will miss mylot and wish everyone a good couple of weeks until I check in again.

Thank you. This is my first cruise. I am glad that I am not on the Carnival Ship that is right now being towed to Mexico. I saw your discussion about Valentine's Day. I do not have a significant other so I can not respond but I plan on being in South Beach on Valentine's Day.

Congratulations for your tour to Miami Miami is a great tourist destination. You must be very excited for this tour. I hope this time you have chosen a right hotel in right area which will give you value for your money. So you will be absent from myLot for some time now then see you later. I have some concerns about the hotel I have now booked but it is in a much better area of Miami. I am looking forward to exploring Miami and then, the cruise. I will mylot some before and after I take the cruise but not while I am on the cruise. I will be absent from mylot about seven days total and I will miss you all. I will be mylotting a little but before I get on the ship but less than when I use my computer. I will be mylotting on my iPad once I start my vacation Wednesday morning.

good day bostonphil, it looks like this will be an exciting trip. having a tour on a cruise is really a great experience. just don't forget to bring your camera with you to take pictures for the good moments plus shooting those views that you can see during the tour. though you can't make mylot but i am pretty sure that you can get more of participation when you come back.

My camera is already packed. I plan on taking a lot of pictures and also plan on uploading some of them to mylot after the cruise. And after I get settled back in!

Yup, time flies. I booked the cruise back in October. I did begin a discussion about it then. And now it is time. I hope to post a discussion after the cruise telling everyone how wonderful it was.

Wow, that should be fun! I have travelled recently and we always go by plane, I wish we can go on a real cruise like that. It is one of our dream vacations and if everything is okay, I would even be brave to go despite of my sea sickness. I wouldn't let that get in the way of me getting on a cruise ship. Have fun!

I am taking OTC meds with them in case I get seasick. The cruise is a big splurge for me but I have never been on one and it's now or never. The planning has taken a lot of work and a lot of frustration. It is going to cost a lot of money.

I am going for my cruise soon, and it is my first cruise too. I have done a lot of research through forum reading, and I think I have a better idea on what to do on board the cruise. The problem is that I have 3 sea days, and I need to find things to do to kill time.
