Then I try to restore my system to earlier date. what a disapointing...! all restore points has disappers even the points that I saved manually. so I thought if I can save these file in a another location it'll be a great help

What Windows you are using? Each OS can be different.
Generally, restore points are in the hidden System Volume Information folder, but it is not recommended you change the file or location or mess with the configuration of Windows components. Besides, Windows knows where its restore points are; if you change the location, that will throw your OS into confusion.
Restore points get deleted as the volume fills up or new ones are created. If you are using Windows 7, you can also restore settings from the image back-up (that is, of course, if you are taking advantage of this invaluable tool and running regular back-ups).

Hi there
Thank you for responding! back up is a good solution but it requires a lots of space.that is why ask about the location of restore points. I thought It'll be easier if I can back up restore points. I am using windows XP

Windows 7 has the backup utility, not XP anyway. It does require space; I use an external HD myself. Better safe than really, REALLY sorry!
BUT I digress from the question at hand. It has been awhile since I used XP and I don't have it anymore, so I can't play with it.
This might help though and answer any problems you might be having:

Restore points will just save your current system configuration and its not meant to be used as backup. Its better to backup your important files than backup the 'restore points'.
