God revealed the Gospel to Jesus Christ but because of so many versions, do you still believe that most of the teachings of God to Jesus are still available in the Bible? Do you believe that every version had undergone alterations, additions, and omissions? How many bibles do you have? Has anyone here seen/read the original scriptures of the Bible?

It is known that the Bible Old and New Testaments, has been distorted by deletion and addition depending on the whims of the book and beliefs and therefore thinks that some verses not exist in the other, and you find discrepancies between the different versions , so could not scholars in theology couldn't denies that
I've got a copy of a Gospel translation of the four Gospels of the Church recognized, of course, I did not see the true origins of the Bible .
Here you can see d. Bart Ehrman, speaking about the distortion of the Bible

Actually, a few years after the ascension of Jesus a version of the gospel of Matthew was written in Hebrew, Jerome translated it and found it in broad agreement with the Greek version of Matthew

The Bible itself protected itself against such things because it has been foreseen. I forgot the verse, but there's a verse that says anyone who alters the true message or meaning of the bible will be condemned. I'll try to look up to that later, then come back to this post.

I don't usually respond to religious discussions but this one caught my eye. I own one Catholic bible which I look through once in awhile. My thinking is that since it was translated some of it's meaning could have been lost in the translation. Since none of us were around in those days there's really nobody to say what is right and what is wrong. We all take from it what we feel or think is right. It's like a movie. What the writer writes is his own truth and what he believes.

Every version of any books including holy books, the content will be summarized and make us easy to read. By every version changing time by time, some content may differ a little bit compared to the original but i mean not the whole content changed maybe a small partition of the book.
This is form my opinion.

The original texts from which the various versions where translated are still in existence and the versions can be checked against them. A few years after the ascension of Jesus a version of the gospel of Matthew was written in Hebrew, Jerome translated it and found it in broad agreement with the Greek version of Matthew. There is now evidence that the Gospel of John was written much earlier than previously thought. Overall the evidence for the authenticity of the Bible is very good

I am a firm believer that all of the teachings of the bible that we have are real and true and genuine. I think that if there were other versions and scripture to be revealed then it would have surely surfaced by now.
