WARNING THIS MAY BE OFFENSIVE TO NEW USERS, LAZY PEOPLE AND BLIND PEOPLE!
I'm sorry but I am so fed up with seeing this today and recently, mostly from new users.
We see how many new users a day here asking about earnings and how to earn? I will tell you how to earn READ!
It won't help if you do not read what we tell you. That's just one group who aren't reading, there's more! In myLot this is ridiculous. Laughable. . . . Okay laugh time over.
I have seen countless users whom we've all tried to interact with lately. They end up in different discussions talking about the same issue we tried to help them with! Sometimes it isn't always about earnings. They just don't read their own discussions after we comment back! They of course don't respond either!! So they wonder why they aren't earning, you aren't READING!
That's my theory, what's yours?

Sometimes things don't appear as clear to others as they do to ourselves. Perhaps they did not feel the questions were answered to their satisfaction or new ones came about. Just my theory.

I suppose I just think of the reasons why someone would do so. Always the devil's advocate.

It is a possibility however that they're not heeding the information they do read.. but wouldn't they give some hint that when I see their comments elsewhere?

Perhaps...
though kind of unlikely to me. I'm a skeptic

These new users get wrong orientation from their uplines who are just eager to get referrals. It is time those who rope in new users do not give false hopes about earning big here. So let me tell all new users here if they are reading this post. There is no big money here but a lot of opportunity to interact, socialise, learn and teach too.
Wlelcome to myLot and have a blast!

You're right this could be a cause of this as well.
Its why I'm always blunt in whatever i write about myLot. I tell them it is a site to be active in and if they feel they still want to join they should. I also outline of course the great things you have put in your response. Friends are priceless, for one.

hi echo! :D well that is true, this is really why i no longer would even want to open a discussion when the subject would say how do i earn from mylot, how to increase my earnings, if i would be caught in these discussions, and that is me being sarcastic in response to them. oh boy you are right, when there are new members often we would see mylot topics all about how to earn, what to do, and so on.

I try to help them when I see someone who asks this. More often than not I see it again from the same user not asking but expressing their frustrations. When I look at their activity I realise they most likely did not read what I told them so most of the time it really is a waste of time for me to tell them anything!

hahahah! Well, you know, echoforever, those who keeps on asking about how to earn here are most probably not going to stay long enough. Coz if your passion is writing, people will definitely stick to this site and the earnings they incur from their activity will only be secondary for them.

Its good they're not staying long because it gives a bad feeling for the site with all of these "posts" and we all responded but they won't read it. Either they will leave or some do read and learn! Which is a great thing for myLot because we will have more fun with them too.

I did read everything and a lot especially when I was new here; still, I was lost at times and needed to read even more. I can't imagine those who do not read at all, I wonder how do they learn? I guess they just have some kind of beyond normal ability... NOT!

No, they definetely can't learn how to do well in myLot without reading. But unless they're just not taking the advice we give when they do read... I just don't think they are reading it. I could be wrong.

I too was like you on my first account here. I didn't read the rules and would wonder about the deletions, i'd be frustrated. Though I learned a lot back then (almost 3 years ago I think?) I didn't put it into practice nearly as well as I have here and now I'm really happy here! Never leaving again!

When i was new, i learned by reading other people's discussions, I'd be honest and say that i didnt read the guidelines until someone posted a link to it. Haha! But then i was so afraid of getting banned on here and i did want to earn some cash too. I'd admit that i found it hard to start in here because i got too conscious with my responses so earnings were really low.

How do you know that your advice actually helps them? Maybe they worded their question wrong and maybe sometimes yours is not the answer that works for them.

Its true there are other reasons of course but it just seems like such a huge trend through out myLot in new users and I feel that is because they're not reading. They're not used to the type of site that myLot is and think they can do well here without reading and just rushing through things.

Yes, it is true and even from some of the older users here as well. Why start a New discussion if you do not bother to take the time to respond back to them, and read what others have wrote? I really think this is a Big necessity as well, and people could learn a lot when they do. As others have said this site is about interaction and responding and reading. Takes more than just a post to make this site worth while.

No in most cases we need to be active about where we write and what we write. A few sentences at least or sometimes more. And reading is of course essential.

be patient with them my friend, they will learn the hard way. i agree, if you don't read what is the purposed of being part of a discussion group. i also think they are complaining about not getting paid enough, because they are not working enough. in time, they won't be that way. we were all new once.

I hope you're right they will learn!
Either they will and start participation or they will leave. I wonder if its laziness or what that causes this?

It gets old, doesn't it? I normally don't even bother to answer those questions because if you just take your time to look around the site, and read the guidelines, you'll find your answer quicker than we can respond. I think most of the new people who are doing this just want to keep starting discussions about the same old thing. They are not satisfied with the answers so start all over again, and I also think they believe they'll be making big bucks. They soon find out it doesn't work that way....but it's usually the hard way.

Their upline is probably telling them something that is a myth of myLot like 1 cent per post. You're right about them not looking around for themselves becuase we've answered these questions tons of times, trying to be helpful, plus a lot of it is in the FAQ themselves!

hi echoforever heres hatley's theory read the discussions also read the guidelines read the guidelines and yes again READ THE COTTON PICKING GUIDELINES AND THE FAQ'S TOO.Pretend that there are dancing cats that you will see after each sentence of the guidelines .okay there are none there but R EAD anyway.,when you came here each of
you are given links to the guidelines and the FAQ;s so they wanted you to use them and read the guidelines and the FAQ;s
READ THE RESPONSES TO YOUR DISCUSSIONS.YOU ASK FOR HELP AND WE GIVE IT BUT YOU MUST READ IT.

I think it gets very frustrating when we keep telling the same people to read the guidelines. I'm not sure why people don't want to read something that will help them in the future... When I was new here I read them first thing, but then again I. wanted to succeed here and I wanted to make the most of my time here. I guess they just want to jump in and earn. Too bad they don't realize reading them will help their earnings in the future so their discussions won't break the rules and cause them to lose money...
A lot of them think its too long to read them, but the half hour at most it will take to read them will benefit them so much! Unfortunately we can only help so much. We surely can't read the guidelines for them. Hopefully they will learn eventually to read them...

Yep you're absolutely right. Unfortunately we can't force it down their throat nor if they won't read our suggestions then we just have to deal with their incessant bantering and wondering what they're doing wrong.

I agree with you. It is a shame when users just post one discussion after another, and leave them there, and won't respond back. they think they will earn from just starting discussions. and not participating in any of them. They are just wasting thetheir time, as they won't earn anyway. It is also a shmae when they are told how to earn, and are told, and yet they continue to ask it over and over again. You are right too, when you say they need to read. that is why the faq's and guidelines are there for, and if all users would use them, then there would be less discussions deleted, and a lot less of asking how to earn in here. I think they want others to more or less do the work for them, when they should do the work for themselves. I hope that this discussion will help those that ned help, and that they will heed it and not ask questions that are already answered in the faq's and guidelines. Take care, and have a very good day.

Yes they're wasting their time and sometimes ours. Its a little frustrating to say the least but we should also be friendly in case they are genuine. I found this out recently becuase a member came back to a discussion and I was not the nicest in there.. luckily other members helped out more than I did.

I definitely have to agree with you on this one and I'm so tired of seeing discussions like this when 9 times out of 10 they are not going to come back and read what we have posted in their discussion and then like you said they come back with the same question or they are wondering why they aren't earning enough money. If they will read what people have posted or read the FAQ's then they can learn how to earn. I mean it is not so hard to earn here anyway, but yet they keep on asking the same questions over and over again. So yeah I'm starting to get tired of those people who keep asking that question over and over again, yet they won't read or they won't take the advice. Hopefully whoever wants to know how to earn here will maybe come across this discussion and read and then maybe go back to the discussion that they ask about earnings and then maybe they can learn and earn the way they want to.

You're absotively right, echo. Ya gotta read to earn your way around here. If you ask a question, be prepared to read the responses and comment, possibly even put some of the suggestions into action. If all they're doing is running around asking questions then whining that they're not earning, don't waste your frustration on them. Just do your thing and earn your money. Each mylotter's choices are theirs to make.

That's right, they're just lucky that the senior mylot members over here do not get tired of telling them what to do even if that means repeating what they say over a hundred times. Its as if every week, someone asks them how to earn properly on mylot. Its actually very considerate of them to reply but one must never abuse another's kindness. They should do their part too and make an effort to actually follow what they're told.. They are already being spoon-fed with all the info, all they have to do is chew and swallow and they still expect us to do it for them. Sometimes i think it is a strategy, to have more people comment on their discussions and attract more viewers to it. But what they're doing is abuse. It isn't right. They should stop.

nursefrai here you do not get paid for more viewers or for the responses we make . mylot does not pay for others work to you . You type you get paid.I type my responses to your discussion I get paid. no pay for views here. you have us mixed up with the other sites.this is pay for quality and no two people will earn the same exact amount. So the only way you get money from a lot of responses is you will comment back on all the responses you get. then you will earn. I think we all should reread the guidelines and the FAQ's all the time all of us also echo I wish they would read our responses then they would see we answered their questions about mylot.

If they'd take the time to search a discussion about that I"m sure they'd find the answer they wanted too. We're nice enough to tell them all over and over, they should use the search so we don't have to!

Hello hatley. thats true but with more views it will push your discussion to the hot tab. And when it goes on the hot tab, more people can see it and thus more people can respond to it, then More comments you can make on your discussion. The discussion stops when everybody stops commenting,

Problem being, some do read and still the answers aren't found.I have read a lot about referral links and haven't found anything about that meaning if we can grab one from the site here to recruit friends from Facebook and things.Just because I haven't seen something doesn't mean I haven't read it lol. That and a lot of people here do not speak English very well, so its hard for them I gather. And we all know that many don't read for other reasons like trying to cheat the system just to gain money ick.
