How Many Discussions-per-Day Should Each Member Start?

I think it depends on how many-discussions you join & -responses you reply-to. Me: I start one discussion after I resolve all the resolvable discussions 4 weeks old or older, one discussion after I check all my myLot-email for the day, one after I've replied to the first pageful of my started-discussions, one after responding to the next pageful, etc. Trying to respond to others' discussions in-between every one of mine, I generally only start two or three a day (not counting Friday-night through Saturday-night, when I go posting-wild ). Does that sound about good for me? What's your usual number-of-starts?

Well,I don't really care about this.lol Because I'm new here, and I like to share my opinions and disucuss with all of you. That's an interesting thing I think.By the way I can improve my English and get reward as I am not local English speaker. However, what you said is reasonable,I've learned some strategies from it.

There's no problems at all sharing your opinions, just come back and express them a much as possible for each one! Not only because it earns so much more that way but because its polite too. And its what the site is for, discussion

My usual number-of-starts is about one per day to paractice to writing good and meaningful short article. However, there are also some times that I have more work or some other important things to do. My suggestion of usual number-of-starts is "it depends on your time and will!" Isn't it one of the reason we love Mylot?

I like that, it is true about myLot. If you have time but not the will or vice versa you won't get much done. Its all about responses to those topics though, you will get involved and earn more plus people will want to discuss with you!

no rule for this problem at all. we can post many if we want and enjoy. Sometime i just post 1 discussion and for long time i didn't post any topic but i still connect to mylot to keep my earning. It is nice when you can post topic and discussion regularly. Keep doing it!!!

I do not think that every day you do not have to debate this. I do debate when there is something to share when something excites me and I want to get advice. friend here is not important quantity and quality. nice day!

i usually start maximum four topics so that i could reply to the other people's comments on my topics. if there are only few replies, i can respond to some topics here.

I start less discussions, because i have to comment back to all in order to make more money. Therefore i start less discussions, you can say only one.And second important part is that if i have something to say, then i start discussions.

I do not think there sis any restriction in starting the number of discussions. Sometimes I start the discussions more on a day sometimes I do not start any of the discussions. I think it is always good as you stated to comment on the discussions that we get replies.

mythociate as many as they can handle and comment back to all the responses they get on their own discussions. I do not like to make more than one a day or less so I have time to comment back and also to respond to my friends discussions also..As long as we are keeping caught up I think its at each users own discretion how many they feel comfortable doing. You sound like you have a handle on what you are doing so more power to you as long as you are comfortable and can handle it

The rule I stick to when starting a discussion is "don't bite off more than you can chew". I feel like when I have to start a new discussion after checking if it's already been opened before, that I have to respond first to the comments which my started discussion generated before I could proceed to make another one. But sometimes I could think of starting a few new discussions in one day.

I start discussions whenever there is something that I think would be a good topic for mylot and does not already exist. It seems like my discussions ever get resolved. Actually there are a few that never received a response.

honestly, I am very bad at creating new discussions. I have been here in Mylot for past three years and I have started only 757 discussions till now. I don't know on which topic should I start and the matter for it. Therefore every day even if I Thought of starting a discussions I cannot, as I run out of the subject. Therefore I here in mylot mostly respond to the discussions.

Its all about enjoyment for me. If I'm having fun doing other responses other than my own topics I will continue on doing so. If there's a good topic I have in mind for fun then I'll put it out there and see what happens. Its not about numbers for me but what I enjoy to do. I think your system is a good one if it works for you though. You will get around to everything with that.

I dont start a lot unless i have lots of free i me to keep it alive. But the. Unfortunately, for some reason, i end up leaving it anyway. I dont start discussions daily but in a week, i have 3-5 i guess. I think you can start as many as you want as long as you have the ability to keep me alive. Or maybe start something when a really strong idea comes. (Which by far i think happens to you a lot.)

I guess my life isn't as exciting as yours because it is hard for me to think of a subject to post about and then sometimes I find that the topic has already been posted. I don't know how come I didn't see that it had been posted but I will get a delete notice anyway.

Like King Solomon wrote, "There is nothing new under the sun." Most every 'little thing' has been posted-about. The best thing to do is ask about the way that we might handle the things that might go on in your life.

I don't even start a discussion everyday, as I don't thi nk it is necessary, as I am here to have fun, and learn. I only start discussions when I decide on what topic I want to use, and then I will think of what to say, tupe it and then post it. some people will start mulitple discussions a day, but if they aren't going to take the time to respond back, then they are wating their time starting them in the first place. the ones that do that, are just trying to make as much money as they can, but they don't realize that without responding bac, they won't earn at all. I would much rather respond to other discussions, as I don't have to come up with a topic. I do much better responding anyway, as it takes me way to long to come up with a topic that I want to start a discussion with anyway. Having fun is much more important to me than earning in the first place. Take care, and have a very good day.

I may start a discussion per day usually. But sometimes I just dont start. It depends really on how I feel that day. I may or may not start any discussions on one particular day. It is completely how I am feeling.

Hello there ! I guess it is not a compulsion for us to post a discussion everyday. It depends on us if that particular day something we want to clarify or discuss with our fellow Mylotters. I for one, brings something in the discussion if i felt something inside and i want to share and ask an opinion or want an enlightenment from fellows here . I admire people who makes a discussion here everyday and even to respond each and every comments given. They are the very diligent , serious , very active Mylotters. How i wish i can do same but so many constrains i got !
