I'm not sure when or whether I should do this or not, but after getting paid from MyLot , I'm thinking of leaving. It was a wonderful ride to be with all of you, but I don't think I'll be able to continue earning like this.
No major complaints about this wonderful service. There seemed to be an overabundance of advertisements, but Adblock did do the job.
The payout requirement however, does seem a bit high. I understand that this would be chosen to make sure that people would stay and get to truly know everyone a bit better, but for people who cannot persevere that long, I guess that's not the case. I'd probably change it down to 5, but that's just my opinion.
Hope yo all continue to live & prosper!

If for you joining mylot is just a way of making money I think it's good you leave. To me it's about the discussions, the responds people give mainly which keeps me make thinking and learning. The main reason I join.

Well, I clearly have not been selecting posts where I could learn something..
I guess for some people getting the money is just a plus; like a person who enjoys what he or she is doing and getting paid for it.
I only read a review of it and thought of trying it out.. Guess everyone has their own motifs..

I did that many years ago. I kept coming back since the digest kept coming and there were topics I wanted to comment on. I lost a few dollars here and there from coming back then being inactive again. There are a few people who joined around the time I did that are in the higher thousands for posts and have found a happy place here. I keep thinking if I would of kept it up I might of made some friend here as well. And a little money even though it is not much money for the time if you are not enjoying yourself.

Did your Upline tell you that myLot is a money spinner? What we get paid here I would consider it to be a bonus There is more here than the money we get here. This is a fun place and whenever you want to unwind what better place than this.

The main problem with many users here is that they think that myLot gives them the opportunity to earn big. If earning is the target no one unwind here.

I guess it's all on opinion really. I don't really find this a place to unwind because while there are a lot of ules to allow us to contribute more, I don't personally think I will ever be able to fully feel safe in this site.

Well, considering how you can get money from simply posting about how your life currently is without having to do anything else (Probably) just seems unorthodox to most people, as most people would be posting the same amount of sentences on Facebook and not get paid for that.
I have no real idea how much the founders of MyLot actually make, but it must be quite a sum since they're paying us to do this without forcing us to answer what products are decent and what products aren't.

Hi there ! Oh don't give up here ! Actually this is a very good earning site . We earn more here , saying this because i took it from my own experienced . I been writing in some credible sites but they pay you very low but unlike here if you are just hard working , you will really earn something . Just have patience and keep on working , minimum payout is not difficult to reach. As one expert in Mylot said , " You type , you earn ". All the best !

it good all we do is just comment and the best part is earn money. If i go to facebook and comment but i not earn anything at all. I feel good that if I share all the photo, video, blog and discussion - in the end I earn money that is wow wow

"No worries mon, and turn that frown the other way around!" I'll be in other GPT sites like swagbucks & points2shop. I don't believe in a God, but God bless you too if you believe in one.

The 10$ minimum payout is mylot's way of screening their users. I dont think mylot will ever change it to 5. Otherwise i have a feeling that the site will be taken advantaged off of people who only see mylot for its monetary value. I'm glad though that you were able to stick to it until you reach payout. Most people give up so easily, especially when you're starting here and its really difficult to start when you are unfamiliar and the earnings are slow. Hopefully you do get to come back when you get bored, mylot will just be here when you need it. Take care. Have fun.

Hm, I guess I should take Mysdianait's advice as well. Ever since I registered at this site, I've consistently been looking at my earnings. To exaggerate, those earnings feel like the cursor at the middle of the screen when you're watching a movie, and I can't help but not look at it.
(I'd also like to know how you have two avatars.. )

Yeah, earning that $10 at its start felt like a task that I would not be able to complete. I often went on/off because of how much I got daily and most of the time I kept on thinking on why I should be doing this when there are more efficient ways to earn money.
Having to earn $10 on the first time entering like you said, makes most people just leave because it's very unappealing to take the time and effort to just earn $10.

I felt that way too, especially that i joined mylot late December last year. And just looking at the earnings i think the most i got was 10-11 cents per day. And i kept on looking at my earnings too. And then i read this discussion by mysdianait one time saying that the htechnique in earning in mylot is not to look at the earnings, i followed her advice and hopefully I'd find out if mylot really does pay when the mylot logo turns green yay! After i stopped looking at earnings, my earnings did get higher shifting from 11 cents that I'd be able to get around 20 plus and now sometimes if i have enough time i even get up to 50 cents. The advice really worked because i realized that i wasted time just by looking at the earnings. I should have used that time contemplating into typing more meaningful responses instead

I signed up in 2008 and then became inactive after a year. I never really thought in coming back in 2012 that I'd still have my account and posts intact. For sure it's not something we can bank on to earn money from quicker but I've realized I've come to know of other sites because of discussions here which were opened by other members.

Everyone has their own reasons for being here. If you are not enjoying it then for sure I can understand why you would want to leave. I wish you well whereever you go...
For me it is fascinating to hear opinions from all over the world. The money is not a lot but then the 'work' isn't hard either. You can get as much out of it as you put into it...
I hope you find someplace to satisty you..but if not, you can always come back

When I came to myLot two years ago, I kind of had the intent of just earning the money.. and at the time, I thought it was a fairly radical way to earn money, as it only seems like this is the only site that does it reliably.
I found out later in the year that it instead was about making and engaging in discussions as you said, but perhaps it is just me who feels that each post isn't paid enough.

oh, i think many people do the same, leave and then go back to mylot.
I connect to mylot not because of earning money, because i like to read and share my thing or ask mylotters' opinion sometime. I have no idea to earn money online also because online earning is not enough for my living, better i earn money from my real work and spend my rest time on mylot ....
Hope one day you find out that mylot is very interesting and you will stay here with us.

Haha, I can't help but think that this place would be a sociologist's paradise; he/she gets to ask different questions that will have many people reacting to different situations, whether it is dire or not.

I wish there was a $5 payout, though with a fee; it allows people who want to try this place out and see what this place is like, while makes people realize that the whole intent was simply to make discussions.
I guess I didn't read what myLot was about when I registered, though I think that this would be a great way to get more people into myLot, seeing how long it would take to earn $5 compared to having to earn $10 at the very start.

hahahaa..so you are planning for a vacation leave with your salary from mylot? good for you, where? joke. I know what you are talking about specially when there are times we feel like we cannot respond to the discussions, you're right you need a leave but I think you will be back here in future unless you find another site like mylot that pays higher.

Well, this is something sorry to hear.Well,i think there are few things to be considered here before making any move.I do not think we need to change the payout to $5.Keeping a high payout, helps us to keep our goals higher.Plus perhaps mylot is looking forward to have us long term over here.Plus mylot is not just about earning.I do not think it is about earning. There are so many things that mylot can help us.We can discuss our personal problems and get solutions from across the globe. We can get new ideas and things. We can put across our opinions and things without any fear of things. There is much to other things than earning at mylot.Hope you can understand.Well,in case you feel you are doing well in mylot, take a break and whenever fine come back.I guess mylot would be happy to see some of the folks return over time.Or you can limit the responses and discussions to a definite amount which is feasible for you on long term perspective. Its should be considered as a pressure and things like that.So think in those directions.Wish you all the best. Thanks!

for me mylot gives me opportunity to study and to improve my knowledge, my skill, and also my vocabulary and at the same time I also earn for my effort.
at first and until now its so hard to earn much because I know from myself that I need to improve more my English grammars and skills, I want a self study from writing correctly to speaking fluently. I think im improving also because when im a newbie here/ im still a newbie when I post a response I always translate this word, that word, and many many words but I feel the time keeps run and my mind continuing to learn each word for my good term and grammar..I hope to learn more here..
I think everyone had a reason why they here in mylot..
on what you will do its up to you, we will support you in your decision but I only want to say is enjoyment is here in mylot. thanks
