You know something, I actually met Dede Yusuf Effendy many years ago while he was shooting "Teh & Soda" movie with Ria Irawan in Los Angeles. And a friend of mine in Jakarta went to the same elementary school as Dede Yusuf and Santi Sardi, the daughter of famous violinist Idris Sardi.

I think this is a phenomenon in Indonesia. What if, the actor and actress are now turning into a politician. Start of Regents, Mayors, Governors, Board Member, etc. now we can see there is definitely actor or actress in it. But it does not matter if they berkopeten in this field, and certainly able to carry out their duties.

i think every citizens has the same right to follow or join to compet in governor and vice election. but we must also be cleaver to choose. who will be our choice. we must not choose only from their popularity but also their experience in governmet. and also their electability.
